• WHAT: A traditional Havre de Grace parade• WHERE: Same route as in the past. Parade will begin at
Warren Street and Union Avenue and continue down around Commerce Street at Tydings Park
• WHEN: Sunday, July 1st, 2pm – 4:30pm

The Downtown Block Party
• WHAT: Downtown Block Party to include: live music, business sidewalk sales, vendors, family style games and events, outdoor restaurant service
• WHERE: Washington Street and St. John Street• WHEN: Sunday, July 1st immediately following parade.
4:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.• Lots of fun activities for families. Examples may include,
but are not limited to: hula hoop contest, dunk tank, Uncle Sam says, and much more!

CONCORD POINT CONCERT & FIREWORKS

Concord Point Concert & Fireworks
• WHAT: Free “Battle of the Bands” Concert to be held at Concord Point Park. Sunday, July 1st, 5 p.m.- 9 p.m.
• Patriotic music by DJ from 9:00 p.m. – 10 p.m. to accompany fireworks display. Food vendors available.
• Fireworks to begin approx. 9:30 p.m. Display lasting 20-25 minutes.
• WHERE: Shot from barge just east from park, south of lighthouse. Fireworks viewing area all along the waterfront.

• WHAT: Amish Outlaws Concert – Tickets $10 each. Available May 1st on Eventbrite and at gate. (Serves as Fundraiser for Havre de Grace Independence Day Commission.)
• WHERE: Hutchins Park• WHEN: Sunday, July 1st 7:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m.• Food and drinks available for purchase. Vendor: HdG
American Legion.• Kid-friendly concert area, to include: moon bounce, face
painting, and other low impact activities.• Great spot to see the fireworks starting at 9:30 p.m.

The Carnival
• WHAT: A carnival to help raise funds for Havre de Grace Independence Day festivities.
• Carnival Operator: Houghton Enterprises• WHEN: Wednesday Sept 12 – Saturday Sept 15, 2018• WHERE: Tydings Park Swale area and half of Marina
parking lot (Same as October 2017 carnival.)
The Carnival
• Rides for kids of all ages• Food vendors to include pizza,
chicken skewers, ice cream, funnel cake, corn dogs, etc
• All-you-can ride wristbands Presale $20. $25 at the gate
• Carnival entirely self-contained to include generators, trashcans, park benches, etc
• Will need water hook-up• Carnival Vendor: Houghton
