Conversational PastPast participle for a separable verb:
prefix + ge + root + t/en.ein + ge + root + en = eingeschlafen.
Note: the verb does not separate!Ich schlafe ein => Ich bin eingeschlafen.
Conversational PastPast participle for inseparable verbs:
NO ge- prefix appears.
Ich verkaufe meine Bücher => Ich habe meine Bücher verkauft.
Ich verbinde die Alpen mit dem Süden.Ich habe die Alpen mit dem S. verbunden.
