Sub.: Request Letter for Refund of Deposit of Student Pass No.: 60262; I-Card
No.: 13244; I-Card Code: 72619(A)
Pass Holder: Parth Yogesh Pathak, Student of Anand Law College
Dear Sir,
I, the undersigned would like to draw your kind attention that I had renewed my earlier three
month's pass for further 15 days. The said pass was renewed on 28 of March 2011 having
validity till 11 April 2011. It is pertinent to mention here sir that, the Deposit amount
charged from GSRTC was Rs. 49 on Dt. 28-12-2010. On the very next day i.e. on the date of
expiry of the Bus Pass - on 12-4-2011, the undersigned approached the GSRTC, Nizampura,
Vadodara and the person concerned lady officer informed that the said amount of Deposit is
not refundable on Dt. 12-4-2011. On 12-4-2011 there was Govt. Holiday - Ramnavami and
therefore on personal visit, the undersigned was asked to come on 13-4-2011. On 13-4-2011,
the undersigned was informed that the said amount of Deposit is lapsed and cannot be
refunded. The same day, the undersigned complained of this fact to the Depot-In charge and
was again asked to see the same clerk for the refund of amount. But the clerk was bit
reluctant to refund and concluded the dispute merely by saying that 'the amount of deposit
cannot be refunded now".
Therefore, aggrieved by this, the undersigned has been forced to write this request letter. The
undersigned once again requests to refund the amount of Deposit and demands reasonableand reasoned reply in writing to this present request letter as well. Failing which, the
undersigned will be constrained to initiate the legal proceedings which pl. note.
Thanking you,
Parth Yogesh Pathak

To,
The Manager,
Dena Bank,
VIP Road Branch,
Vadodara.
I had deposited 16 cheques with a total value of approximately Rs. 1/- lac on Dt. 2-4-2011 at
10:00 AM. I should get the credit of all these cheques on Tuesday i.e. on 4-4-2011. Now I
had deposited worth Rs. 70,000/- in my PPF Account with State Bank of India which hadcome for clearing on 5-4-2011. The cheque was returned due to insufficient balance in the
A/c. However, as per the rules I should get the credit in my A/c on third day of the deposit of
the cheques which falls on Dt. 5-4-2011 so my PPF Cheques should not be returned unpaid.
However, the bank rejected the cheque charging me penalty of Rs. 111/-. Now in PPF A/c I
get an interest @ 9.5% if my cheque is cleared on Dt. 5-4-2011. So I lost my one month
interest. You credited my A/c on Dt. 6-4-2011 meaning on fourth day of the depositing of
cheques.
