FunShip Business Suite Profile

● FunShip is an easy-to-use, Windows-based application specifically designed for the courier,

messenger, and distribution industries.

● FunShip automates the front office, back-end business and in-field courier processes, including

online customer order entry, accounts receivable, real-time delivery tracking, and account

information.

● FunShip uses wireless two-way data technology to enable dispatchers to wirelessly send detailed

order information to a driver's device. Drivers can view and interact with the information on their

device and keep dispatchers up to date by remotely updating the status of pickups and

deliveries.

● FunShip allows courier companies to handle and deliver high volumes of goods to multiple

locations efficiently, accurately and on time. It improves sorting, loading, distribution and

tracking of packages from a distribution center, utilizing bar code scanning technology alongside

electronic business-to-business communication. Signature capture, load, receive and delivery

scans, and customized rating and billing are features to help you satisfy the technologically

savvy customer better than your competition. Now, with our real-time update, your customer

knows immediately that the delivery was a success and who signed for it.

● FunShip has been built up as a multi-tiered service oriented application. This modular

architecture gives the possibility of using it efficiently in multi-user multi-device environments.

● FunShip is build upon MS SQL Server 2008 R2 database engine and it uses advanced MS SQL

Server 2008 R2 features.

● Platform used for development is .Net 4.0 Framework using Visual Studio 2010. C#

Programming language.

● For Web based services (PDA sync …) secure communication is achieved using (SSL) protocol

(Secured Socket Layer).

Each user at station connects to local station data base and Funship Replication Mechanism is synchronizing data across all databases.

When Network Problem occurs, each user will continue his activities with out any problem. When network recovers all data will be synchronized automatically to all stations data bases. No SQL Server licenses are required for user located at each station
