What is“Between Scylla and Charybdis”
(1) in a situation where you have to choose
between two possible actions, but both are
dangerous or unpleasant.
(2) People sometimes also use the phrase "between a rock and a hard place" to mean the same thing."
Example:My ex-girlfriend is at my home now, and my girlfriend is ringing the bell now. Oh! My goodness. What can I do now! I am now between Scylla and Charybdis.
