2013 Anniversary of foundation speech

To all members of the Dongwha family!

It was an incredibly snowy and cold winter which froze

both our hearts and bodies but the blue skies of April

have warmed us. As we greet a new season we are

filled with anticipation we greet the 65th anniversary

of our company’s founding.

As our foundation day draws upon us, I would like to

thank all of you here at Dongwha for all of your dedica-

tion both with your hearts and bodies.

Today I would especially like to thank those employees

who have been with us for over 20 years as well as the

winners of last years awards for outstanding perfor-

mance achieved for their contribution to the growth of

the company.

Through the name Dongwha we don’t fluctuate be-

tween happiness and sadness at success and failure.

The steady steps we have taken over the years have

already taken us over half a century to build a 65 year

history.

Throughout history we have used opportunities as a

springboard for growth and by overcoming crisis we

have grown to become a company with longevity.

However, in this business environment that changes so

rapidly it is impossible to predict, in order to both cre-

ate continued results and be recognized as a member

of local society as we complete the first quarter of 2013,

the global business performance has made aware of

the potential crisis we face.

Even in these difficult times we have sowed the seeds

of the future with stood the cold winter and the one-by-

one we see our seeds bearing fruit.

We have secured a tree project in Bombala, Australia

and as the completion of the Dongwha Timbers Sawmill

is just around the corner, our training institute ‘Dong-

wha Culture Village’ where our hopes and dreams will

be born is also almost ready to greet us.

In addition, within a short 2 year period, through our

sales site M Park, our Car life business has found stabil-

ity and we are taking on a new challenge by entering

the car auction business through ‘M Park Auction Plus’.

As there are ups and downs in life, in a company’s his-

tory there is defeat and triumph, failure and challenge

but this allows us to grow and in the center of it our

employees have banded together with trust and pride.

Stanford professor and globally recognized manage-

ment consultant Jim Collins said that the companies

that have endured over many many years have done so

because while they adhere to principles based in trust

and pride they do not fear change.

As a result of temporary difficulties there may be some

slowdowns but the strength of our Dongwha employ-

ees over the past 65 years will allow us to overcome a

difficult journey and this process of overcoming crisis

will be a lesson whereby Dongwha employees can raise

their capabilities to the next level.

To all Dongwha employees!

This year we are standing at an important crossroads

of whether we succeed or fail. As such, in 2013 the ded-

icated efforts of all of the employees including myself is

needed more than any time before in history.

As I emphasized in my new year’s speech achieving our

business goals for this year, global revenues of 1.1784

trillion won with an operating profit of 49.1 billion won

is the start of our success and experiencing this success

will become part of our DNA and is the stepping stone

we need for sustainable growth.

Woonguja, a renowned Chinese archer said ‘if you do

everything you put your heart to and with strong will,

when you shoot an arrow at your target you can pierce

a rock’. These words show how important a strong will

is to achieving your goals.The external business en-

vironment conditions may be poor but by improving

what we are made of we can strengthen ourselves in-

ternally and if the investments we have actively made

to date bear fruit then Dongwha will be that much

more successful and I believe it will be an opportunity

to share in the joys of achievement.

To my dearest Dongwha family!

The pages in history that we will write will be of a road

that is far longer than the road we have already walked

and all of the Dongwha family members here are the

key players in building this new history.

Just as there is a saying that if you add wings to your

thoughts a new road will appear, if there are more

members of Dongwha that are continually thinking,

imagining and creating our business, the stage we are

active on and our history will know no bounds as they

move forward.

Let’s use this time to reflect once againon our vision

‘A company that cherishes people and builds happiness

with its customers’ and come together as one with pas-

sion and will to reach our goals.

In this manner, let’s all do our best to make 2013 a year

to be remembered.

In closing, as we celebrate this 65th year since our

founding, I would once again like to thank, applaud

and encourage all of the Dongwha employees here and

those working so hard in our global offices.

Let’s make this year one where we achieve everything

we want both for the company and personally and make

it a meaningful year where we can share the results we

achieve together. Thank-you.

준공식 프로그램 중 하나로 신규 제재 공장에서 첫 생산된 제재목에 ‘성공기원'을 새겨 기념했다

As part of the ceremony signatures were collected on the first piece of wood that was produced at the sawmill to give their support and ‘wishes for success’

지난 5월 10일, 금요일. 동화의 미래만큼이나 화

창했던 날씨 속에 진행된 호주 동화팀버스 제재공

장의 준공식 현장에 동화 가족들이 함께했다. 호

주 제재공장건설 프로젝트 ‘나무(NAMU)'는 7,700

만 호주 달러(한화 약 890억 원)가 투자된 대규모

프로젝트로, 향후 사업성과 지역 경제 활성화에

크게 기여할 것으로 기대를 모으며 호주 정부로

부터 전폭적인 지지를 받은 프로젝트이기도 하다.

이날 준공식 행사는 회장님의 축사를 시작으로 바

트 크롤리 동화팀버스 대표, 베리 파렐 호주 뉴사

우스웨일스 주 총리, 마이크 켈리 연방정부 하원

의원 등 300여 명의 인사가 참석한 가운데 성황리

에 마무리 되었다.

It is a bright day, as bright as Dongwha’s future at the

dedication ceremony for Dongwha Timbers’ sawmill

in Australia. As relayed through notices ‘Australia’s

sawmill construction project NAMU’ is a large-scale

project with an investment of 77 AUD (approx 89 bil-

lion won) and is a project that is wholeheartedly sup-

ported by the Australian government for its expected

contribution to the growth of the region.

Thanks to the completion of the Dongwha Timbers

Sawmill, the Bombala region of Australia and its

1500 inhabitants has been reinvigorated thanks to

Dongwha. In addition, 10% of the entire population or

150 people are already a part of the Dongwha family.

This is a look at the state-the-art sawmill that will produce 150,000㎥ of lumber and deck material annually on 360,000㎡ of land.

준공이 완료된 동화팀버스 신규 제재공장으로 인

해 현재 인구 1,500여 명의 호주 봄발라 지역이 활

기를 되찾았다는 반가운 소식을 들을 수 있었다.

또한 봄발라 지역 전체 인구 중 10%인 150명이

동화의 새 가족이 되었다.

이 준공식 현장에서 전한 메시지로 그곳의 분위기

를 함축하고자 한다.

‘공장이 준공된 것은 저에게 일자리가 생기고 지

역의 성장을 약속하는 일이기도 하지만, 장기적

으로 저의 자녀들과 젊은이들이 이 봄발라 지역

을 떠나지 않아도 된다는 희망의 메시지가 되고

있습니다.’

I will finish this update on the dedication ceremony

with a message from ‘Russell Rowling’, an employee

of Dongwha Timbers. The dedication ceremony start-

ed with the Chairman’s message of congratulations

and saw the participation of Bart Crawley, CEO of

Dongwha Holdings, Barry O’Farrell, New South Wales

Premier, Mike Kelly, a member of the House of Com-

mons and 300 other distinguished guests.

‘The completion of this sawmill isn’t just about giving

me a job or promising this region’s growth, it’s also

about giving the message of hope to our children and

the younger generation that they don’t have to leave

the Bombala area.’

300 Seat 'Auction Hall' Made Using the

Latest Technology

최신식 장비로, 모니터를 보며 현장 경매를 진행할 수 있는 300여 석이 갖추어져 있다.

여기에서 매주 목요일 오후 1시에 300여 대의 중고차 경매가 이루어진다.

As you can see in the picture, an auction can take place seating 300 while viewing a monitor

using the latest technology. Every Thursday at 1 p.m. an auction of 300 used cars takes place.

지난 5월 28일(화) 엠파크 랜드 내(內) 위치한 중고 자동차 경매단지의

그랜드 오픈식이 열렸다. 이날 오픈식에서는 성공기원의 테이프 커팅을

시작으로 회장님의 격려사, 정대원 대표의 축하사와 함께 엠파크 옥션을 축하해

준 동화 직원들과 모의경매를 가져보는 시간으로 마무리 하였다. 무엇보다 이번 동화

“엠파크 옥션플러스”는 국내 중고차 경매장 가운데 최초로 ‘원격 경매 시스템’이 도입되어 현

장이 아니더라도 온라인을 통해 원격으로 중고차 경매에 참여할 수 있는 시설을 갖추었다. 이를 통해

원격 경매로 진행되는 현장 경매 실황을 엠파크 홈페이지를 통해 볼 수 있어 거래 투명성까지 갖추게 되었다.

새롭게 출발하는 동화의 엠파크 옥션플러스!

모두의 관심과 성원으로 더욱 성장하길 기원한다.

The used car auction site located in M Park Land had its grand opening on May 28th. At the grand

opening along with a tape-cutting were words of encouragement by the Chairman, words of con-

gratulations by CEO Chung Dae-won and a mock auction with Dongwha employees as par-

ticipants to end the ceremony. Above all, at Dongwha’s ‘M Park Auction Plus’ a ‘remote

auction system’ has been adopted for the first time in Korea allowing bidders to

participate in the auction via the Internet without having to be on site. In ad-

dition, remote auction proceedings can be viewed on the M Park web-

site making the entire process transparent. The Newly Launched

M Park Auction Plus! I pray that everyone at Dongwha will

support and give words of encouragement to help this

business grow.

of blood were eventually collected. Cooperation adn initia-

tives shown by managers and employees in making this

event successful reflected their strong team bonding.

Donating blood is not only about saving lives, it makes us

happier, healthier as well as promoting healthy lifestyle.

는 시간을 가졌다.

푸른 날씨와 함께 가족들의 건강과 행복까지 챙긴 이번 마라톤 대회.

직원들은 물론 지역주민 모두의 행복을 실현하는 뿌듯한 계기가 되기도

한 현장을 함께한다.

As Dongwha greets its 65th year since inception, we have set

goals and willed ourselves forward as we partake in a marathon

that gives us yet another opportunity to revisit Dongwha’s goals

for this year. Under blue skies, this marathon provided us the op-

portunity to take care of our family’s health and happiness. Let’s

head over and take a look at this event which brought so much

happiness to our employees as well as local residents.

It is early morning and it is starting to get busy at base camp

where Dongwha employees have gathered to check-in and get

assigned their numbers. Throughout the marathon all of the

Dongwha employees that participated created the proud green

wave of Dongwha.

이번 창립기념 마라톤 대회에는 평소 건강관리를 위해 마라톤을 꾸준히

해오신 회장님께서 하프 완주를 목표로 직접 참여하였다. 회장님은 대회

에 참여한 동화인들에게 앞으로 다함께 동화의 꿈과 목표를 향해 달려나

가자며, 건강을 언제나 챙겨야 모든 행복이 찾아 올 수 있다는 격려섞인

멋진 응원의 메시지를 건네주셨다.

During this marathon, our chairman who has participated in

many marathons as part of his health regiment set a goal of

completing a half marathon. Not only has he given his words

of encouragement to the participating Dongwha employees

but he has also sent a message that being healthy will lead

to happiness and that everyone should work together to fulfill

Dongwha’s future dreams and goals.

레이스를 마친 동화인들이 삼삼오오 본부로 돌아온다. 동화인들 모두 완

주의 끝에서 행복을 잔뜩 싣고 온 듯 하다. 치킨과 함께한 화기애애한 간식

시간을 끝으로 행복한 시간을 마무리했다.

The Dongwha employees who finished the race are returning to

base camp. They all look filled with happiness as they reach the

finish line. After a happy time snacking on chicken, this time of

happiness came to an end.

“모두의 행복을 만들어가는 눈부신 레이스”

드디어, 마라톤 출발선. 설레임으로 가득찬 동화인들의 얼굴이 그저

즐겁다. 프로와 같은 실력을 뽐내며 앞서가는 동화인, 동료들과 밝은

웃음을 건네며 나아가는 동화인, 아장아장 걷는 아이의 발걸음에 맞춰가

는 동화인 등등. 각양각색의 모습으로 건강과 행복을 생각하는 동화의

모습이 보였다.

Finally, it is the starting line. All of the Dongwha employees'

faces are filled with joy and anticipation. Participants came in all

different shapes and colors. There were those who were leading

the pack running just like the pros do, those who were laughing

with their colleagues as they ran alongside each other and there

were those walking alongside their children, all looking happy

and healthy.

April, 2013 Open Forum, as a continuation of

February’s Innovation Festival to strengthen

Dongwha’s global capabilities, an english

festival was held at this open forum. On the

stage at the Grand hall in Incheon, five final-

ists are in the middle of rehearsing for the fi-

nals. The pictures and themes of the present-

ers that will come on stage after the rehearsal

is quite impressive.

After the preparations are finished finally it

is time for the English presentation compe-

tition. The competitors were free to present

on any topic they chose and what they pre-

sented was a level higher than the skills they

showed during the preliminary rounds.

It was easy to see how much each of the five

presenters rehearsed in getting ready for to-

day’s competition. While waiting for the win-

ner to be announced a game where the final

letter of a word was used to start another

word relieved some of the tension from the

competition.

2013년 4월, 이번 열린광장은 2월 혁신 페스티발에

이어 동화의 글로벌 역량강화를 위한 잉글리쉬 페스

티벌이 열렸다. 인천 대강당 무대에는 예선을 치르고

본선에 오른 5명의 본선 진출자들의 연습이 한창이

다. 이들의 리허설 무대 뒤로 발표자들의 사진과 주제

로 꾸며진 실내 디스플레이가 인상적이다.

여러 준비를 마치고 드디어 잉글리쉬 프레젠테이션

경연의 시작. 자유형식의 발표로 주어진 이번 경연에

서 이들은 예선 때 보여줬던 역량을 한층 높여, 더욱

업그레이드된 실력을 마음껏 발휘해주었다. 동화라

는 바다에서 여러가지 역경을 헤쳐나가며, 긍정의 힘

으로 이겨나가겠다는 당찬 포부를 밝힌 신입사원 유

지혜 사우를 시작으로 프레젠테이션 장표와 대사를

한 박자도 놓치지 않고 자유자재의 제스처로 기선제

압에 성공한 김지훈 사우의 마지막 발표까지.

5명 각각의 발표자들이 오늘을 위해 얼마만큼 준비

하였는지를 충분히 느끼도록 해 준 무대들이었다. 대

망의 최종 수상자 발표를 기다리는 동안 이어진 깜짝

영단어 끝말잇기 이벤트는 숨죽이고 들었던 무대의

긴장감을 확 풀어주기도 하였다.

뜨거운 야구 코칭 현장으로!Living a Baseball Dream!

대한민국은 지금 사회인 야구 열풍으로 뜨겁다. 2009년 야구팬들의 가슴

을 들끓게 했던 WBC(월드 베이스볼 클래식)를 시작으로 메이저리그 ‘류현

진과 추신수’의 맹활약까지, 나날이 그 인기가 커졌다. 동시에 야구를 직접

하려는 사람이 늘어나면서 사회인 야구가 급성장하기도 하였다. 동화에도

야구에 대한 열정으로 뭉친 네 사나이가 있다. 동화의 사회인 야구팀 창단

을 꿈꾸며 구슬땀 흘리는 네 명의 열혈 사나이들을 만났다.

Korea is now in the midst of a baseball craze. Starting in 2009

with success at the World Baseball Classic, which won the hearts

of Korean fans, baseballs popularity has grown from strength to

strength in recent years in South Korea and continued to grow

with local superstars such as Ryu Hyun-Jin (LA Dodgers Pitcher)

and Shinsoo Choo (Cleveland Reds Slugger) now plying their

trade in the American Major League. This popularity has re-

sulted in an increasing number of people participating in local

weekend leagues and competitions. Here at Dongwha as well

we met with four guys with a passion for baseball and a dream

one day of founding a Dongwha Baseball Team. Together they

participated in a specially organized training session with a pro-

일요일 오전, 동화의 열혈 야구인 네 명이 문래동 야구 연습장에 들어선

다. 가벼운 스트레칭으로 워밍업을 한 후 캐치볼을 시작으로 본격적인

야구 코칭이 시작되었다.

“자세 낮추고!” “손목!” “허리!”

코치의 목소리가 커질수록 그들의 눈빛에서 하나라도 더 배우겠다는

뜨거운 의지를 읽을 수 있었다. 기본기를 배울 기회가 없어 잦은 부상

에 시달렸다는 말에서 절실함이 느껴진다. 그들은 캐치, 송구, 펑고,

핸들링, 타격 등 2시간에 걸쳐 배운 모든 훈련을 몸에 각인시키려는

듯 높은 집중력을 보였다. 많은 연습과 실전 경험을 쌓는 것이 단점

을 극복하는 유일한 방법임을 증명하려는 듯 하다. 야구와 삶이 다르

지 않다는 말이 생각난다.

Early on a Sunday morning our four baseball enthusiasts

have arrive at a practice field in mullae-dong. After a bit of

light stretching and catch they begin their coaching session.

“Lower your stance!” “Wrists!” “Waist!”

As the level of the coaches instructions grew louder so did

the desire in each of their eyes to learn more. Under the

guidance of a professional coach these four Dongwha col-

leagues went through a range of exercises covering the

basics of baseball – throwing, catching, ground fielding,

handling and of course hitting! After an intense 2 hour

training session their skin was a shade darker and their

bodies were covered in sweat. As the saying goes practice

makes perfect and this is certainly the case when it comes

During a 5 minute break while the guys were guzzling down wa-

ter in front of a small stand fan set up in the dugout I sat down

with them to discuss sports and the positive effects it has on

their working life. “It’s a shame more guys don’t get out and en-

joy this kind of physical activity on the weekends” Commented

the group. “Baseball is not as physically demanding as other

sports which means it’s easy to play a game on a Sunday and

go to work on Monday without feeling fatigued” they added,

“It actually helps with the stress of work rather than add to it”.

Despite their tired bodies our four baseball players still had

expressions of enjoyment and passion on their faces. Thanks

to this opportunity from Dongwha this group of men was able

to improve their baseball skills and enjoy one of their hobbies

together with their coworkers. We hope that they along with

many of our other workers continue their passion and maybe

one day set up a company baseball team.

그들은 많은 남자들이 뚜렷한 취미활동 없이 주말을 보내는 것에 안타

까워했다. 야구는 다른 스포츠와 달리 체력부담이 적을 뿐 아니라, 많은

대화를 나누면서 소통하는 스포츠라는 점이 직장에서도 큰 효과를 발휘

한다며 강력 추천했다.

아내와 함께 연습장을 찾은 임용환 사우, 얼마 전 둘째 딸을 출산했다는

윤종욱 사우, 사회인 야구를 올해 처음 시작했다는 김윤근 사우, 두 딸의

아빠이자 자칭 팀내 에이스 황길영 사우까지. 몸은 녹초가 됐지만, 그들

의 표정에서는 사나이들의 열정과 희열을 볼 수 있었다. 행복한 취미활

동으로 동화의 행복까지 책임질 이들. 동화 야구팀 창단의 꿈을 이뤄 많

은 동화인들과 함께 행복을 나누길 바란다.

저는 평소 자주 오르는 소백산과 부석사를 추천합니다. 야생화로 유명한

소백산은 봄마다 열리는 철쭉제가 유명한데요. 아름다운 연분홍 꽃길을

걷다 보면, 자신도 모르게 감탄사를 연발할 정도로 매우 낭만적인 곳입니

다. 부석사는 장관이 무척 아름다운데요. 계단을 오를 때마다 위용을 드

러내는 무량수전의 변화무쌍한 모습이 그렇습니다. 더불어 기와지붕 너머

로 굽이치는 소백산맥을 둘러싼 안개와 붉은 석양을 보면 가히 국보급이

라는 생각마저 듭니다.

I would like to recommend Sobaek Mountain and Buseok

Temple, two places I visit regularly. Famous for its wildflowers

every spring Sobaek Mountain hosts the Royal Azaleas Festival.

As you walk along, taking in the beautiful pink flowers, you find

yourself in awe at this romantic location. The grand Buseok

Temple is very beautiful. Every time you walk up the stairs the

ever-changing appearance of Muryangsujeon is revealed. In

addition, over the tiles of the temple, the fog and red sunset

encapsulating the mountain makes you imagine a national

treasure.

임산폭포는 가족 모르게 준비한 깜짝 여행으로 기분 좋게 출발하였지만 시

작은 좋지가 않았습니다. 길치인 탓에 오랜 시간 길을 헤매었을 뿐 아니라

어렵게 도착한 펜션이 사진과 너무 달랐기 때문입니다. 헌데 이튿날 아침,

계곡을 따라 우거진 숲길을 오른 후 맞이한 폭포의 위용은 어제의 나쁜 기

억을 다 날려버리기에 충분했습니다. 우렁찬 소리를 내며 쏟아지는 폭포에

답답했던 체증이 시원하게 내려가는 기분이었습니다. 최악이 될 뻔했지만,

다행히 가족에게도 최고의 여행지로 기억되는 곳입니다.

When I’m tired and having a tough time I think of Yimsan Waterfall (Gapyeong)

I planned a surprise trip to Yimsan Waterfall for my family but

it did not start off well. I’m not very good with directions so not

only did I get lost but the pension that I reserved looked nothing

like its picture. But the next morning after following a path

through the forest the sight of the waterfall was enough to wipe

out the bad memories from the day before. The sound of the

water as it came crashing down washed away any frustrations

I may have had. It could have been the worst vacation we had

but thankfully my family said it was the best vacation they had.

갈수록 빠져드는 도시, 경주

경주는 많은 사람들이 그러하듯 저 역시 피곤에 이끌려 다녀왔던 수학여행의 장소일 뿐 그 이상은 아니었습니다. 하지만 설 연휴, 내일로(RAIL路) 기차여행을

통해 다시 만난 경주는 말로 형용할 수 없을 만큼 환상적이었습니다. 천마총, 에밀레종, 첨성대, 안압지의 야경까지. 시간이 어떻게 흐르는지도 모르도록 걸은

후에야 도시 전체가 유네스코에 등재된 세계문화유산이라는 말이 실감되었습니다. 이미 몇 번을 가보았지만, 가면 갈수록 더 깊은 매력에 빠지는 곳 같습니다.

Just like many others Kyungju was nothing more than a place we were dragged to on student trips. However, during the Lunar New Year

holidays the train trip I took to Kyungju was so amazing I can’t describe it in words. From Chunmachong, Emiraejong, Chumsungdae,

Ahnabji to Yahgyung. It was only after walking without realizing how time flew by that I truly felt why they say the entire city was registered

as a UNESCO world cultural asset. I have been there many times before but each time I go I fall deeper into its beauty.

다. 화려했던 봄꽃이 시들어가는 5, 6월은 푸르른 생명력을 가장 잘 느낄 수 있는 시기이기

도 합니다. 보성 다원 녹차밭을 거닐 때면 그 무엇에 비할 수 없을 만큼 기분 좋은 여유를 만

끽할 수 있는데요. 눈앞이 온통 초록빛으로 뒤덮일 정도로 넓은 녹차밭이 내뿜는 향긋한 내

음과 평온한 기운에 몸과 마음이 깨끗해지는 느낌입니다.

It is a place I have visited often to take pictures but as when I think of “places

to recommend” I think of the green tea fields in Bosung. In May and June when

the bright flowers start to die it is the best time to take in all of the greenness.

When crossing the green tea fields there is a feeling of freedom that can’t be

compared to anything else. Spread out, everything is covered in green thanks

to the vast expanse of green tea fields and their wonderful scent give off a

relaxing energy making me feel physically and mentally cleansed.

작년 5월, ‘버스커버스커’의 노래를 배경 삼아 다녀왔던 여수는 정말 잊지 못할 여행지였습

니다. 특히 어두운 밤, 줄지어선 가로등을 따라 걸으며 느꼈던 시원한 바닷바람과 아늑한 분

위기가 준 감동은 지금도 생생합니다. 노랫말 같은 사연은 없지만, 금방이라도 가슴 두근거

리는 사연이 생길 것처럼 너무도 아름다운 곳이었습니다. 거기에 8천원에 무한리필이 가능

한 게장은 여수의 백미를 장식하기에 충분했지요.

Last May, I went on a trip to Yeosu with the ‘Busker Busker’ song as the theme.

It is a trip I will never forget. The feeling I got as I walked along the row of

streetlights in the dark night with the cool ocean breeze is still clear in my mind.

I don’t have a story like the lyrics of the song but this place was so beautiful

my heart beat as if something was about to happen. The 8000 won unlimited

serving of Gaejang (marinated crab) was the highlight of Yeosu.

4월 9일, 보다 나은 동화를 열어가는 핵심요지 동화의 연수원이

개원 오픈식을 가졌다.

‘동화컬처빌리지’라 이름 지어진 이곳은 ‘직원들이 보다 나은 환경’

에서 교육을 받기 위해 북한강 강변 옆에 빼어난 경관과 함께하

는 곳에 완공되었으며, 그저 연수원 혹은 강의장이 아닌, 동화 가

족들이 자연에서의 힐링과 함께 교육을 함께 받을 수 있는 목적으

로 운영된다.

where employees can receive training in a better environ-

ment. Built beside the North Han River with a beautiful

view, it is not just a training institute or lecture hall but was

built with the intention of providing employees a place

오픈하며, 2014년 초에는 3단계 공사가 완료되어 70명이 넘는 인

원이 자유롭게 숙박을 할 수 있는 규모로 확장될 예정이다.

The Dongwha Culture Village is the heart that joins Dong-

wha’s vision and happiness together. Together with the

Chairman’s congratulatory speech that a better Dongwha

awaits, the opening tour that followed showed how much

better the training center was for its facilities and design

surprising all of the guests in attendance. Dongwha’s Cul-

ture Village’s first phase opened followed by the second

phase in October in which the guest house opened and in

2014 the third phase is set to be completed with enough

space to sleep 70 people.

동화의 ‘진짜 사나이’ Dongwha’s ‘Real Man’

Focus and Determination Say it All

Last year, Team C set a goal to see how they could effectively chart

the earnings and expenses during the manufacturing process.

Unlike other teams who set goals to change 1 wave to four months,

they were on 5 wave. That reason they all worked towards one goal

was because of the possibility of improving efficiency.

Unlike other teams the long-term goal may have stood out and

gained attention but it was their continued hard work that really

put them in the spotlight.

We Are One!

Despite their busy schedules in order to achieve their goal

they all shared the know-how and experience in the areas they

were responsible for. Through a number of different ideas and

planning they reduced excess to a minimum and distribution

over a wide area also gave it a visual effect. Joong-geun Park’s

comment that the result was because everyone participated

in the discussions with a positive mindset and took on the

challenge together really hit home. Team C took to heart that

they take responsibility for and solve whatever issues came up

within the team. Expectations are not wishful thinking that this

team will produce exceptional results for any goals they set.

집중과 끈기로 말한다

작년, 분임C조는 제작 공정의 핵심인 수지를 어떻게 효과적으로 도

포할 것인가에 대한 활동목표를 세웠다. 1wave인 4개월을 주기로

목표를 바꾸는 다른 조와는 달리 그들은 5wave 째 진행하고 있었

다. 하나의 목표만을 위해 달려온 것은 조금 더 효율을 향상시킬 수

있는 가능성이 보인다는 이유에서였다.

다른 조와 달리 목표 기간이 길어서 눈에 띈 덕에 좋은 평을 받은

거라며 쑥스러워했지만, 그들의 꾸준한 노력이 빛을 본 것이었다.

우리는 하나!

공정의 특성 상, 조원들이 모두 수지 부분을 맡고 있는 것은 아니

다. 하지만 조의 목표달성을 위해 바쁜 시간에도 각자의 파트에서

쌓은 경험과 노하우를 회의에서 유감없이 나누었다. 다양한 아이디

어와 기획 구성을 통해 잉여분을 최소한으로 줄이고, 넓은 면적에

골고루 분포하게 되어 가시적인 효과를 얻을 수 있었다. 모두가 긍

정적인 마음으로 함께 의논하고 도전한 덕이지 않겠냐는 박중근 과

장의 이야기가 고스란히 진심으로 전해졌다.

조에서 일어난 일은 조에서 책임지고 해결한다는 말을 마음에 새

겨두고 있다는 분임C조. 그들이 어떤 목표를 세우건 탁월한 성과를

이루어낼 것이라는 기대가 결코 바람만은 아닐 것이다.

땀으로 엮인 끈끈한 형제

늦은 오후임에도 때이른 무더위에 공장은 후끈하게 달아올라 있었다. 간식과 함께 습

격한 분임C조는 테이블에 둘러앉아 땀을 닦으며 더위를 식히고 있다. 현장 10명, 서

포터 1명으로 이루어진 그들은 긴급상황으로 조장을 비롯 몇몇이 함께 하지 못한 부

분에 아쉬워했다.

누가 먼저랄 것도 없이 모두 자리에서 일어나 함께 하지 못한 이들의 간식을 따로 빼

둔 후에야 간식을 먹기 시작한 그들. 그 모습이 너무도 자연스러워, 동료로는 표현

이 부족하다는 생각과 동시에 형제라는 단어가 떠오른 것은 결코 우연이 아니었다.

Brother’s brought close through hard work

Even in the late afternoon the heat has brought temperatures up in the

factory. Sitting around a table having a snack the team members are

wiping the sweat off their brow. Made up of 10 on-site employees and one

supporter, an emergency has called some of their team members away

and as such are sad they can’t all be together.

Everyone got up together and set aside some food for those unable to

join. It was only after that, that they started to eat. It was such a wonderful

sight to see that calling each other colleagues was not enough and it is no

surprise that the term brother came to mind.

of innovation achieved through focus and unity.


Aren’t we happy because we come together as one

The Green Service team started with “lean” activities in the latter

half of 2011 and in the third quarter of last March the team which

was divided into special sales and commercial sales were integrated

into a single team reducing costs significantly. Recognized for their

efforts they were awarded the grand prize at the Lean project

presentation competition and most recently presented their

activities as the outstanding case for management on-site analysis.

A Multiplayer Filled with Creativity

As understanding of each other’s jobs went up thanks to internal

training, communication within the team also became smoother

and work efficiency rose. Team members who saw their individual

capabilities improve now became multiplayers and job satisfaction

also increased. Perhaps that is why on-site members of the A/S team

were given perfect scores for both technical skills and service. This

has become the guiding principle that happiness in the workplace

translates into happiness at home creating a balanced life.

The Green Service Team will operate a membership program and is

planning a number of different activities. Working in a free environment

and based on an abundance of creativity this team will lead the future of

Dongwha Nature Flooring. We applaud you as we look to your unwavering

passion and never ending desire to take on new challenges.

하나로 통하니 기쁘지 아니한가

그린서비스팀은 2011년 하반기부터 린 활동을 시작했고, 지난해 3

사분기에 특판과 시판으로 나뉘어져 있던 A/S를 하나로 통합해 투

입비용을 절감하는 큰 효과를 거뒀다. 이러한 활동을 인정받아 지

난해 말 동화자연마루 린(Lean) 과제발표대회에서 우수상을 차지

했고, 얼마 전 경영자 현장진단 활동에서 우수사례 발표를 하는 등

많은 주목을 받았다.

창의력 풍부한 멀티플레이어

내부 교육 등을 통해 서로의 업무에 대한 이해가 높아지면서 팀 내

커뮤니케이션이 보다 원활해지고 업무 효율도 높아졌다. 개인 역량

이 향상된 팀원들은 이제 멀티플레이어가 되었고 업무에 대한 성취

감도 한층 높아졌다. 그래서일까. 현장에서는 A/S요원들의 꼼꼼한

처리에 ‘기술점수 만점, 서비스점수 만점’이라는 평가가 쏟아져 나

온다. 이렇듯 일터에서의 행복은 가정의 행복으로 이어져 균형 잡

힌 삶을 사는 원천이 되고 있다.

앞으로 멤버십 프로그램 운영 등 많은 일들을 계획하고 있는 그린

서비스팀. 자유로운 분위기 속에서 풍부한 창의력을 바탕으로 동화

자연마루의 내일을 이끌어갈 그들. 지치지 않는 열정과 도전을 기

대하며 응원의 박수를 보낸다.

하루 일정이 마무리되는 늦은 오후. 한낮의 열기가 사그라지기 시작할 무렵, 동화자연

마루 회의실은 매월 열리는 그린서비스팀의 A/S 교육으로 점점 열기가 뜨거워진다.

양손 가득 간식거리를 들고 찾았을 때, 20여 명의 팀원들은 뜻밖의 선물에 반가워하

며 마음껏 간식타임을 즐겼다.

싱싱한 배추에 고기와 김치를 듬뿍 얹어 제법 먹음직스러워 보이는 보쌈 한 쌈을 동

료에게 건네는 모습이 영락없는 형과 아우. 팀 결속력이 대단하다는 말이 허투루 들

리지 않는 이유다.

Filled with happiness as brothers share some Bossam

It is late in the afternoon and time for the day to come to an end. Just as

the heat from the day is coming to an end, the meeting room at Dongwha

Nature Flooring is starting to heat up as the monthly Green Service A/S

training gets ready to start. When paying a visit carrying snacks in both

hands the 20 or so team members were happy to greet me and they took

a break to enjoy their snack.

The picture of one colleague offering a piece of pork wrapped in fresh

lettuce stuffed with kimchi was just like that of two brothers. This is why

team cohesion isn’t just something to think lightly about.

한여름처럼 무더웠던 6월의 주말, 조기범 사우와 가족이 스튜디

오로 들어왔다. 아내가 직접 고른 흰 커플 티셔츠와 딸들의 분홍

피케 티셔츠가 촬영준비로 한창인 스튜디오를 화사하게 만든다.

촬영을 시작하자, 사진관 가족사진을 생각했다는 부부의 표정에

서 좀처럼 긴장이 사라지지 않았다. 그들의 어색한 미소는 큰 딸

하은이의 자신감 넘치는 포즈와 작은 딸 하민이의 애교 넘치는 표

정의 시범으로 점점 부드러워졌다. 두 딸은 자신들의 차례가 끝나

면 작은 산새처럼 재잘거리며 모두를 미소 짓게 했다.

15년 전, 교양수업에서 처음 만난 아내와의 인연을 시작으로 결

혼 10주년이라는 짧지 않은 세월을 함께 했건만, 그들의 마주잡

은 두 손은 아직도 처음처럼 설렌다. 얼굴을 마주볼 때마다 어색

하고 쑥스러워했지만 서로의 눈빛에서 오랜 사랑을 읽기엔 충

분했다.

It is a hot weekend in June and Ki-bum Jo and his family

have entered the studio. The white matching t-shirts

chosen by his wife and the pink t-shirts worn by their

daughters have made the studio bright.

As soon as the shoot starts, the couple’s nervous

expressions start to disappear. Their awkward smiles

start to become more relaxed thanks to third eldest

daughter Ha-eun’s confident poses and younger

daughter Ha-min’s cute expressions. When both

daughters finish taking their pictures the ensuing

chatter makes everyone smile.

He met his wife 15 years earlier in Liberal Arts class and

they have been married for 10 years, not a short time by

any means but they are still filled with butterflies when

they hold each other’s hands. Every time they look at

each other it is awkward and they are shy but the way

they look at each other is enough to see how long they

have been in love.

Ki-bum Jo works in the Auction Division, a new business

started by Dongwha. It is a business that has generated

great expectations and as such everyone from the start has

been filled with tension which meant it was difficult to pay a

lot of attention to their families. His wife said it was ok and

patted him on the shoulder but there was no way to hide how

bad he felt. His desire to convey through the newsletter how

sorry and thankful he was could be seen as he reviewed the

pictures taken during the photo shoot.

“I knew my family picture was to be taken because he sent

a story to Green Dongwha but I didn’t know what the story

would be about.” Hearing what the story was about his wife

smiled. She added that her husband has always been a very

thoughtful person. As if embarrassed, Ki-bum Jo avoided

looking into his wife’s eyes. His wife said she hoped the new

business would do well and that he always stayed healthy also

thanking her husband and Dongwha for putting this together.

동화에서 신규사업의 성공과 가정의 행복이라는 두 마리 토끼를 모두

잡고 싶다는 조기범 대리. 이번 사진촬영으로 동화의 핵심가치이기도

한 행복에 대해 다시 생각하게 되었다고 한다. 그리고 가족이 바로 그

해답이라는 사실과 함께 소중함을 느끼게 되었다고 했다. 가족을 사랑

하는 그의 마음을 따라, 집에서부터 일터인 동화까지 행복 바이러스가

늘 함께 할 것 같다는 기분 좋은 상상이 된다.

Ki-bum Jo wanted to kill two birds with one stone. He wanted

the success of Dongwha’s new business and happiness for

his family. Through this photo shoot he was once again able

to revisit the meaning of happiness, one of Donghwa’s core

values. And through this he was able to see that his family

was the answer and just how important they were. I can

imagine with great joy that the love for his family will be like

a happy virus, going from his home to his job at Dongwha.

조기범 사우는 동화의 신규사업인 경매사업본부에서 근무를 한다. 회

사의 기대를 모았던 사업이라 모든 사원이 사활을 걸었던 초반에는 한

시도 긴장을 늦출 수 없어 가족에게 많은 신경을 쓰지 못했다고 했다.

아내는 괜찮다며 그의 어깨를 다독였지만 미안한 마음을 감출 길이 없

었다. 촬영된 사진을 모니터링 하는 그에게서 사보를 통해 미안하고,

고맙다는 말을 꼭 전하고 싶었다는 애틋한 마음이 전해진다.

“그린동화에 사연을 보내서 가족사진을 찍게 된 것은 알았지만, 어떤

내용인지는 몰랐어요. “

사연의 내용을 들은 아내는 괜한 짓을 했다는 말과 달리 입가에는 미

소가 지어졌다. 그리고 그가 예전부터 감수성이 풍부했다는 말을 덧

붙인다. 조기범 대리는 쑥스러운 듯 첫사랑이자 영원한 동반자인 아

내의 눈을 슬며시 피했다. 그녀는 남편의 바람처럼 신규사업이 더 잘

되고, 항상 건강하길 바란다는 말로 이 자리를 마련해준 남편과 동화

에 고마움을 전했다.

Painting Myself, My Dream and DongwhaTraining Site For Those Who Have Been Promote

지난 4월, 동화컬처빌리지에선 1박 2일 일정으로 2013년 과ㆍ차장급 승진자와 사원ㆍ대리

급 승진자들이 차례로 승진자 교육을 받았다. 누구보다 올해를 기쁘게 시작한 이들의 즐거

웠던 교육현장을 소개한다.

이번 승진자 교육은 동화 컬처빌리지가 개원한 후 동화인들에게 가장 처음으로 시작한 컬

처빌리지 1호 교육이었다. 처음 컬처빌리지를 접한 동화인들은 북한강과 함께하는 아름다

운 경치에 입을 다물지 못했다.

In April, there were two overnight training sessions held for those promoted

in 2013 at Dongwha’s Culture Village. Let’s go on-site and see how much the

participants enjoyed their training.

This training session was the first to take place since the opening of Dongwha’s

Culture Village. The participants who had come to the Culture Village for the first

time couldn’t keep their mouths closed.


1박 2일로 이루어진 교육에서 첫째 날에는 리더십교육과 본인

의 강점을 재해석해보는 시간을, 둘째 날에는 새로운 리더로서

의 실천의지에 대해 마음가짐을 새롭게 하는 시간을 가졌다. 오

랜만에 만난 동기들을 비롯해 모두가 서로 축하와 격려를 아끼

지 않는 모습이 눈에 띄었다. 리더로 성장할 이들에게 무엇보

다 필요한 것은 본인의 장단점을 파악하여 진정한 리더의 역할

과 책임, 그리고 기업의 비전을 함께 그려나가는 부분일 것이다.

이번 교육에서 무엇보다 직원들이 가장 즐겁게 임했던 부분은

유화페인팅으로 피카소가 되어 본 시간이었다. 자신과 동화가

담긴 가지각색의 사연들이 그림으로 표현되어 액자에 담길 때,

모두의 입가에 행복이 그려졌다.

교육에 참가했던 모두가 그때의 다짐처럼 동화 같은 마음과 자

기다움을 잊지 말고, 건강하고 행복한 동화인으로 성장하길 기

대한다.

The overnight training session started with leadership

training and a session where participants were to

reinterpret their strengths. On the second day, they

were told as new leaders to have a new mindset with

respect to their will to put into practice what their new

positions required. They greeted colleagues that they

hadn’t seen in a long time and congratulated each

other on their promotions. To grow as leaders, more

than anything not only do they need to understand their

strengths and weaknesses but they have to take on the

role and responsibility of a real leader and more forward

in line with the company’s vision.

The participants especially enjoyed the oil painting

session. For just that moment at least, they were all

Picasso. All Dongwha employees are artists, painting

themselves and Dongwha’s future. So many different

stories were portrayed through the paintings and the

painting brought so many smiles to their faces. Like the

time had today, we hope the participants don’t forget to

make the most of their strengths and shortcomings to

continue their growth as a happy and healthy member

of Dongwha.

Hyun-sub Bae needed a style to match his good-na-

tured personality. Something different from his usual

non-descript style bringing out his strengths. Unlike the

pleasant smile he gave as his first impression from his

firmly closed mouth we felt seriousness. We decided

배현섭 사우는 동화에서 많은 꿈을 펼치고 싶어

했다. 그 중 하나가 새로 오픈한 연수원 컬처빌리

지의 분위기에 어울리게 자신을 변화시키는 것이

었다. 이번 스타일D에 참여를 신청한 결정적인 이

유기도 하다.

그가 안경을 벗고 메이크업 의자에 앉은 것은 결

혼 이후 4년 만이다. 긴장한 듯 얼굴이 경직되었지

만, 눈에는 변화에 대한 기대감으로 가득했다. 자

신의 달라진 모습이 담긴 사보를 깜짝 선물할 것

이라는 말에 그의 아내가 얼마나 기뻐할 지 생생

하게 떠올랐다.

Hyun-sub Bae joined the company last year

from a different company and expressed his

desire to bring many of his dreams true at

Dongwha. One of those was to transform

himself to suit the atmosphere at the newly

opened culture village. That was the key

factor behind his decision to apply for a style

transformation.

It was his first time taking off his glasses

and sitting in a makeup chair since he was

married four years earlier. Looking nervous

his expression was serious but his eyes

spoke of the expectations he had for his

transformation. He imagined how happy

his wife would be when he told her his gift

to her was the newsletter that featured his

new look.

“Seeing my new look as a result of this ‘Style Transformation’ I

felt that I should wake up a little bit earlier so I could pay more

attention to how I look. I should go on a date right away.”

Through this opportunity by creating a style just right for him he

recharged his confidence and took a step closer to becoming

the ideal he strives for. By maintaining his new style we look

forward to him leaving a good impression on those coming to

the culture village for training and becoming one of Dongwha’s

key employees.

“이번 ‘STYLE UP’을 통해 바뀐 제 모습을 보니, 이제부터는 조금이라도

빨리 일어나서 신경 써야겠다는 생각이 드네요. 당장 다이어트부터 시

작해야겠어요.”

이번 기회를 통해 자신에게 맞는 스타일로 자신감을 충전하여 원하던 이

상에 한걸음 더 다가섰으리라 생각된다. 꾸준히 스타일을 유지하여 컬처

빌리지에 교육 차 방문하는 사람들에게 좋은 인상을 남기는, 동화의 대

표 사원으로 거듭나길 기대한다.

우리 아빠가 달라졌어요~ My dad is different~

6월 8일, 경기도 양주에 위치한 장자울 캠핑장으로 두 가족이 모였다. 요즘 김호준

사우와 김봉기 사우는 같은 고민을 안고 있다. 아이들과 대화할 시간과 방법을

찾지 못해 점점 멀어지는 느낌을 받고 있다는 것. 아이의 성장과 발달, 정서에

큰 영향을 미치기 때문에 아빠의 역할은 매우 중요하다. 아이들이 커갈수록

아빠와 같이 밥 먹는 시간은 줄고, 함께 보내는 시간은 줄어든다. 두 사우

역시 마음은 굴뚝같은데, 기회가 마땅치 않다고 입을 모았다. 그러면서

이번 캠핑을 기회로 아이들과 더 친해지고 싶다는 속내를 털어놓았다.

　

June 8th, two families have gathered at the Jangjawool

Campground located in Yangju, Kyonggi Province. Both

Ho-jun Kim and Bong-ki Kim share the same concerns.

They are both having difficulties finding the time and

ways to communicate with their children and feel

that they are growing more distant from them.

A father's role is very important in the early

stages of a child's life having a big effect on

their growth and development. As children

grow the amount of time spent sitting down

and eating with their fathers decreases as

does the amount of time spent together

with them. Both want to spend time

with their children but both say there

just isn't the right opportunity.

That is why both have expressed

their desire to use this camping

opportunity to get closer to

their children.

이 세상의 모든 아빠들은 아이들과 친해지고 싶어한다. 하지만 방법을 몰라 아이들에겐 늘 지쳐있고, 말이

안 통하는 아빠로 기억된다. 더 늦기 전에 아이들과 가까워지고 싶다는 두 사우를 위해 동화가 준비했다.

Every dad in the world wants to be close to their child. But every child remembers a dad

who tires easily and is someone they can’t relate to. Dongwha has prepared something

for two dads before it’s too late. Change the paradigm of what a father is project, Dong-

가마솥 뚜껑을 열자 취사병 출신임을 강조했던 김봉기 사우가 고두밥이 되었다며 머쓱해한다. 민정이가

나서 자신은 원래 진밥을 안 좋아한다며 접시 가득 밥을 펐다. 아빠 기분을 살려주는 눈치가 제법이다.

Min-Jung is watching her father releasing the steam from the iron cauldron. That’s because

she rarely sees her father cooking at home. As soon as he opens the lid, Bong-ki Kim who

was on kitchen duty in the military remarks embarrassed that the rice is a bit on the hard

side. Min-jung replies that she doesn’t like soggy rice and fills her plate with the rice. She

is great at making her dad feel good about himself.

김호준 사우가 아이들이 좋아해 더 챙겨왔다는 소시지를 먹기 편하게 잘라 접시에 담아놓는다. 아내는 더

운 날씨에 탈이라도 날까 매실 엑기스를 물에 타왔다. 아이들에 대한 배려가 몸에 밴 부부다.

Ho-jun Kim has brought a lot of sausages for his kids because he knows they like them. He

places them on the barbecue. He cuts the meat into small pieces so it is easier to eat. With

each move he makes you can see the consideration he has for his children is ingrained in

him. His wife packed some green plum extract in water just in case the hot weather gave

them indigestion. The love for their children is ingrained in this couple.

두 사우의 이야기는 모든 아빠의 이야기였다

김호준 사우는 유부남의 로망이라는 ‘주말부부’지만, 어

떤 일이 있어도 주말엔 가족과 함께 보내려고 노력한다.

물론 아니라고 했지만, 벌금제를 도입한 아내와 잔소리

쟁이 큰 딸 채은이의 역할도 컸으리라. 게다가 언제나 씩

씩하고 활기찬 아들 경민이를 보고 있노라면 더더욱 주

말을 가족과 보내고 싶었을 것이다.

김봉기 사우가 학원을 빠지고 캠핑 와서 너무 좋다는 민

정이와 들떠서 캠핑장을 누비는 진혁이를 바라본다. 이

렇게 좋아하는 아이들의 모습에 함께 시간을 보내지 못

했던 것이 미안했다. 잘 다녀오라며 짐을 싸주고 연수를

간 아내의 얼굴이 떠오른다.

Both fathers said it wasn’t easy to speak

with their children and that is the same

story for fathers everywhere.

Ho-jun Kim only sees his family on weekends and

makes an effort to see them every weekend no

matter what. Of course he says it's not true but the

role of his wife who has imposed a fine system and

eldest daughter Chae-eun who likes to nag him is

big. In addition, just seeing his bright and energetic

son Kyung-min makes him want to spend time with

his family even more.

Seeing her overexcited little brother Jin-hyuk run

about the campground Min-jung shakes her head

saying its no use talking to him. Bong-ki Kim came

to the conclusion that it was ok because of the

age difference. Instead he felt bad that he wasn't

able to spend enough time talking with his children

about their worries. He thought of his wife who

packed his bags and left for training.

관심과 대화는 직장과 가정 모두의 필요한 요소다

경민이가 같이 놀자며 누룽지를 먹는 진혁이의 팔을 붙잡고 조른다. 두 아이는 어느새 친형제처

럼 지치지도 않고 밤까지 뛰놀았다. 김호준 사우의 아내는 자신과 똑같은 우유를 사왔다며 너털

웃음으로 엄마가 함께 오지 못해 아쉬워하는 민정이의 마음을 감싼다. 채은이는 텐트의 불빛을

따라온 벌레를 쫓는 일에 한창이다. 모닥불 앞에 앉은 두 사우는 시원한 맥주와 함께 무더웠던

한낮의 열기와 미안했던 마음을 날려보내며, 보다 친구 같은 아빠가 되리라 마음먹는다. 이번 기

회로 아이들과 보내는 시간의 소중함을 다시금 깨달은 듯 하다. 마음의 위안을 찾은 두 사우의

얼굴에서 보다 행복한 동화의 미래를 엿볼 수 있었다.

Showing interest and attention is something that is necessary

both in the workplace and at home.

Jin-hyuk is busy eating but Kyung-min grabs onto his arm pleading to go play together.

In no time they are like brothers running around and playing until evening. Ho-jun Kim

is comforting his daughter Min-Jung who is sad their mother wasn't there with them.

Both fathers are sitting down enjoying a beer as the heat from the day starts to fade

away much like their feelings of regret, vowing to become friends to their children.

Through this opportunity they realized once again how important the time spent with

their children was. We could see that these two men had made peace with themselves

and in their faces we saw the happy future of Dongwha.

아빠! 이번에 가족끼리 캠핑가는 좋은 기회를 만들어주셔서 감사합니다.

오랜만의 가족여행이라 정말 재미있었고 좋은 추억이 되었어요.

그래도 다음번에는 엄마도 같이 갔으면 좋겠어요.

이번 기회에 아빠와 이야기도 많이 나누고, 맛있는 고기도 구워먹고, 밥도 해먹고.

설거지하는 건 귀찮았지만 그래도 좋은 기억이었어요

이번에 아빠의 새로운 면도 많이 봤구, 좋은 경험도 많이 하고 정말 좋았어요.

처음에는 귀찮아서 가기 싫었고, 딱 도착하니 내 또래는 하나도 없어서 더 싫었는

데,

막상 지내보니까 재미있어서 짜증 났던 거 다 잊어버리고 잘 지낸 거 같아요.

이런 좋은 기회 많이 만들어주셔서 정말 감사드리고, 앞으로도 많은 기회 더 만들

어주세요!!!

이번 캠핑은 정말 잊지 못할 성공적인 캠핑이었던 거 같아요.

동화 낚시동호회에 가면 낚싯대를 던지는 유연한 리듬, 고기가 몰리길

바라는 간절한 희망, 서로를 위한 뜨거운 마음이 하나로 모여드는 것을 볼

수 있다. 마치 흐르는 강물처럼 혹은 우리들의 삶처럼.

2013년 시조대회를 통해 한층 더 성숙해진 동화 낚시동호회 낭만청춘들의

이야기 속으로 들어가보자.

If you visit Dongwha’s fishing club you will see the rhyth-

mic throws of the fishing rod, wishes for the fish to gather

and the warm hearts of everyone coming together as one.

It’s just like a flowing river or like our lives.

Let’s hear the stories of Dongwha’s fishing club as they

take part in a competition.

동화 낚시회의 일원이었다.

그는 잡기만 하면 엄청난 물고기었기에...

동화 낚시회 사람들은 그를 ‘빅피쉬맨’이라고 불렀다.

“떡밥이 제일이지~”

“지렁이가 제일이지~”

하지만, 동화 낚시회에서 ‘미끼의 난’이 일어났고 …

빅피쉬맨은 방황을 하게 되었다.

無그이유는...빅피쉬맨의 낚싯대에는 아무것도 없었기 때문이다.

빈 낚싯대를 들고 강으로 유유자적 나가는

오랜만에 모습을 드러낸 빅피쉬맨을 향한

궁금증은 멈추지 않았다.

과연, 오늘은 어떤 미끼를 쓸까?

뜻 깊은 행사의 마무리! 기념촬영~

작년 5월 새롭게 출범한 동화 낚시동호회는 민물낚시를 좋아하는 19명의 사람들로 구성되어 있다. 동화 낚시

동호회에서는 전통 민물낚시법인 바닥낚시를 주종목으로 행하며, 3월부터 11월까지는 매월 1번의 정기출조

를 나간다.

동화 낚시동호회 활동은 회원들과의 깊은 우애를 쌓아가고, 개인적인 정서를 함양시킬 수 있기에 여러모로 큰

도움이 된다. 더불어 가족과 함께 떠나는 낚시여행을 준비하여 주변 관광은 물론 맛집 탐방도 진행하기에 더

욱 특별하다.

현재, 동화 낚시동호회에서는 결코 잊을 수 없는 찌울림의 짜릿한 손맛을 함께 누릴 신입회원들을 모집 중이다.

The fishing club was newly launched in May and made up of 19 freshwater fishing enthusiasts.

The fishing club teaches the basics of deep sea fishing and meets once a month between June

and November. The activities of the Dongwha fishing club builds brotherly love between the

members and cultivates personal ties that can be of a great help in many ways. In addition,

going on a fishing trip with family provides the opportunity to visit local areas and discover great

places to eat making the trip all the more special. At the moment, the fishing club is recruiting

new members to experience the thrill that can’t be forgotten.
