Stephen Robson h?p://www.greenwich-‐printmaker.co.uk Stephen Robson joined Greenwich Printmakers in 2010. He went to Goldsmith's College and has a background in teaching and working in photography. He is strongly drawn to the work of ar9sts such as Samuel Palmer, Edward Hopper and Paul Nash. The Thames estuary and the coast of Norfolk and Suffolk have been favorite subjects. Reasons in which I shows this ar9st I like the use of dull images. It makes the work look older and more detailed. Also it give a depressing and dark fell to his work. I like the shading used in his images it make them look more realis9c and professional. The two which I like the most is the top right and the bo?om leS. I like the top right because it is creepy and reminds me of something you would see in a horror show. This is unlike the bo?om leS which is very peaceful. Structure He almost always has a horizon view in all of his work. This is because he creates most of his images in the dunes or in a view of a cliff. He uses only black and white in his images also
Diana croS h?p://www.greenwich-‐printmakers.co.uk/index.php?/project/diana-‐croS-‐-‐-‐-‐-‐-‐-‐-‐-‐-‐-‐-‐-‐-‐/ Diana CroS is a painter and printmaker who specialises in making hand-‐produced collographs in small edi9ons. The prints are richly coloured and textured, oSen using layers of hand-‐made papers and gold and silver-‐leaf. Although given edi9on numbers, the prints all vary resul9ng in each one being a unique piece. Reasons in which I shows this ar9st I like her use of green and lush scenery. She uses bright and eye catching colours in all of here work I like the way she uses abstract scenery in her work. It makes he work look different and it stands out among others I like how she uses stencils in her work. It bring out the colours and gives such things as trees a verna9on. I like this most in the top leS image.
