Citirea i interpretarea unui text biblic n context (A se vedea T. Longman, Interpretarea Vechiului Testament, Ed. Logos, 2010, pp. 37-46)
Este necesar o imagine de ansamblu asupra Sfintei Scripturi, fiindc scoaterea textului din context prezint riscul unei nelegeri deformate, greite a cuvntului lui Dumnezeu.
A citi un pasaj biblic n context nseamn a-l citi pe fondul ansamblului Scripturii, observnd locul pe care acesta l ocup n ntregul ei.
Niveluri ale contextului
1. Nivelul de baz cuvintele, propoziiile i paragrafele care preced i urmeaz textul analizat. 2. Contextul intermediar seciunea (partea), mai ales n cazul crilor cu extensiune mare. 3. Cartea
a. mesajul coerent al unei cri a Sfintei Scripturi poate fi receptat numai n lumina lecturrii i nelegerii ntregii cri.
b. Lucrrile de introducere i comentariile biblice ofer o privire de ansamblu asupra mesajului crilor, i o schi a lor astfel putem observa unde se ncadreaz pasajul nostru n ansamblul

a. Scriptura este o realitate unitar b. Autorii secundari (aghiografii) transmit un mesaj unic, o singur istorie, o singur lucrare a lui

Identificai i completai n spaiile alocate diferitele niveluri (nivel de baz, seciune, carte, VT,
Sf. Scriptur) ale contextului pentru urmtoarele pasaje biblice: 1. Apoi l-a scos afar i i -a zis: Privete la cer i numr stelele, de le poi numra! i a
adugat: Att de muli vor fi urmaii ti! i a crezut Avram pe Domnul i i s -a socotit aceasta ca dreptate. (Fac. 15, 5-6)

Abordai exegetic unul din urmtoarele texte, la alegere:
1. Apoi l-a scos afar i i -a zis: Privete la cer i numr stelele, de le poi numra! i a adugat: Att de muli vor fi urmaii ti! i a crezut Avram pe Domnul i i s-a socotit aceasta ca dreptate. (Fac. 15, 5-6)
