Frida Kahlo's special way of managing her difficult life serves not only as an example for other woman of all ages, but also as "wings" or a "tree of hope", images the artist depicted herself in various of her paintings and which symbolized her inner strength and courage.

Definition of EMPOWERMENTEmpowerment refers to increasing the spiritual, political, social, educational, gender-specific or economic strength of individuals and communities. Empowerment is often also called "self efficacy", which means achieving goals autonomously. Empowerment is also a source for hope and not only achievement, but the act of self-fulfillment.

As the word itself suggests, it derives from "power" and implies doing anything in an autonomous way that makes sense and has a certain impact on oneself, influences and satisfies.
