3.40 AUDIO AIDS(a) CopyrightExhibitors who wish to utilize audio and/or visual aids in the Exhibition in relation to the sound tracks of videos and music being played must ensure that their use will not infringe the copyrights of others. Exhibitors are advised to contact the following organization regarding theprocedures for application of a «Copyright Music License»:

The licensing requirements include the playing of live, as well as recorded music, (records, tapes, compact discs, etc.) and also include music, whether it is the essence of the presentation or is only used as background, on a videotape or otherpresentation.

The proper license must be posted in your booth and available for inspection at the request of Show Management or properly authorized agentsof ASCAP or BMI. We advise you to contact these agencies as listed below to acquire the proper licenses:

ASCAP Licensing Dept. BMI (Broadcast Music, Inc.)1 Lincoln Plaza 10 Music Square EastNew York, NY 10023 Nashville, TN 37203-4399Tel: 212-621-6000 Tel: 800-925-8451, 615-401-2000

6. STAND-FITTING REGULATIONS AND SPECIFICATIONS

6.1 ELECTRICAL SUPPLIES AND INSTALLATIONThe standard electrical current supplies available for use on stands at the Exhibition are:120/208-volt three-phase with a neutral and 480-volt three phase

Most 220-volt equipment will operate at 208-volts. Almost all 230 and 240-volt equipment and some sensitive 220-volt equipmentwill not operate properly at 208-volts and will require a transformer to boost the voltage to approximately 230-volts.

Determine the amount of power each piece of equipment requires by looking at its rating stamp. The ratings placed on the equipment will indicate VOLTAGE, AMPERAGE and PHASING. All three ratings are required in order to order the correct service.

This rating indicates the equipment runs on 30 amps with a range of 220/380 to 240/415-volt three-phase power.208-volt three phase will NOT work for this application. If your equipment requires 380-volt thru 480-volt power, please contact the phone number provided on our order form or call 800-553-3536 for more information.Exhibitor’s requiring 380-volt power must contact the Edlen office producing the event for additional orderinformation.

For safety reasons and for the protection of electrical installation at the Exhibition premises, all power main installations from source to outlet (Exhibition stands) must only be carried out by the Official ElectricalContractor. And all DBs where required and/or deemed necessary by theOfficial Electrical Contractor must be hung or mounted on the walls or structures of the stand. Please inform your stand contractor andengineers/technicians of this regulation and ensure that they submit to the Official Electrical Contractor the positions where such DBs can bemounted. Any installation deviating from this regulation will result in the supplies not being switched on unless and until the Exhibitor submit in writing discharging the Organiser/Show Manager or the Official Electrical Contractor from any consequence or liability whatsoever. The Exhibitor’s cooperation and understanding on this matter is appreciated as it is only beneficial to all parties concerned.

4. ACCOMODATION AND TRANSPORTATION

Connection of exhibits within the stands may be carried out by the Exhibitor’s technician, but such connections should be inspected by theOfficial Electrical Contractor before supply can be switched on.

No electrical installation or fittings may be suspended from the ceiling of the Exhibition Hall or fixed to any part of the building structure withoutthe prior permission of the Organiser/Show Manager and the Hall Owner and, if permitted, a fee may be levied.

The Organiser/Show Manager reserves the right to disconnect the electrical supply to any installation, which in the opinion of the Official Electrical Contractor / Safety Officer is dangerous or will cause annoyance to visitors or to other Exhibitors.

Please place orders early to facilitate submission of electrical plans to the governing authority for approval. Late or wrong orders will cause delaysin the supply to your stand. Please note that the physical environment / conditions of the Exhibition may be different from those in the Exhibitor’spremises which may affect the stability of electrical supplies and installations; and thus allowances must be factored into the orders made and asa ruleof-thumb practice 80% is deemed as full load.

Electrical arrangements for Exhibition can be ordered by using Electrical Service Form.

PART A:How to order power

Determine the amount of power each piece of equipment requires by looking at its rating stamp. This stamp can be found on the back or bottom of most equipment, but sometimes, manufacturers choose to make it more difficult to find. For example; you may have to look at the transformerplugged into your laptop to find its rating. For objects such as refrigerators and microwaves, the rating can be found inside the door.Equipment requiring high voltage power will range from heavy machinery and medical devices to industrial cooking equipment. Most industrialequipment is rated at 208 volts, but other typical voltages include 220, 230 & 480 volt.

The ratings placed on the equipment will indicate VOLTAGE, AMPERAGE and PHASING. All three ratings are required to order the correct service.

Make sure to order a separate outlet for each piece of equipment. Each piece of equipment requires a separateoutlet.

PART B:How to order Labor

The rules governing what work requires the use of electrical labor varies by facility and union jurisdiction.Labor is typically required for:

- Distribution of power under your carpet- Distribution of power throughout your booth structure- All high voltage power connections (208-480 volt)- Installation of lighting hung from ceiling or truss- Installation of lighting mounted to your booth structure- Connections to dimmers, disconnect switches or sound & projection equipment- Network cable runs within booth space or overhead- Wiring of overhead signs

If you require any of the work listed above, you will need to complete the electrical labor order form included in the exhibitor kit. If there are anyquestions regarding electrical labor, please contact the Edlen Electrical office producing your event. If you do not have that information, please send an email to [email protected] noting the event you will be exhibiting in and the correct contact information will be sent to you.

Exhibitors requiring 24-hour supply must submit in writing their requirement, at least two (2) weeks prior to the build-up date, to the Official Electrical Contractor, and any additional cost due to wiring, consumption, inspection fees, levies, etc. must be borne by the Exhibitor concerned.Requests for any item not listed in Electrical Service Form can be directed to the Official Electrical Contractor, Edlen Electrical.

Please remember to indicate the locations of any additional electrical fittings you require on Service Location Plan Form, so that the electrical andservice engineers and staff can prepare your requirements before you arrive at the Exhibition site.

6.2 WATER AND DRAINAGE SUPPLYLimited water and drainage is available at certain locations of the Exhibition Hall, thus advance notice must be given to the ficial Venue bycompleting Water & Drainage Form. The supply comes at ambient temperature and normal household pressure, and at flow rates which may vary at different locations. Special arrangements must be made with the Official Contractor well in advance, should an Exhibitor requiresvery specific water supply. The drainage is via gravity flow.

Utility floor ports are located on 30 foot centers and provide electricity, drainage, and phone connections.Compressed air and water are conveniently located on specific pillars.

6.3 STAND-FITTING REGULATIONSThese regulations aim to benefit all participants, albeit that larger stands would inevitably have much more elaborate designs. All Exhibitorsand their contractors building and decorating the stands should view such regulations as guidelines to develop an effective presentation as part of the overall Exhibition environment; thus Exhibitors are advised to inform their nominated stand contractors of these regulations and to ensuretheir strict compliance:

- All parts of this Section are inter-related and are to be complied with collectively, where applicable.

- All dimensions and positions of stands and utilities are estimates and must be verified and confirmed on-site. Adjustments to the stand construction must be made to accommodate any such variation.

- Exhibitors and their contractors must take note and adhere to the timings for the build-up and tear-down periods stated in the Time-table of In-hall Operations when preparing and constructing their stands and exhibit displays, as extension of these timings may not be possible since the Exhibition Hall may be booked already for other events; and even if an extension ispossible, the charges involved are very costly, and must be borne by the Exhibitor or their contractor concerned.
