With regard to the system rangesand , special attention has
been given to high levels of hygiene andintensive med. requirements.
Thanks to their modular design, themedicalsupplyceilingunitsinthe
and ranges offer a flexiblearrangement of the system and theworkplace. Taking into consideration yourrequirements, the area of usage andspatial dimension, isable to offer you a supply unit tailored toyour individual medical needs.
To ensure that the patient receives the bestpossible care, the unit is accessible from allsidesinallmodelvariants.
The new design of the rangeoffers all the facilities necessary for opti-mumpatientcare.
In the basic version, the supplybeam can be fitted with the necessarymedia and installations at the front andback of the unit on many levels. Simpleequipment carriers, which move along theentire length of the beam, complete theworking area facilities.
Whatever the requirements of the chosencourse of treatment and the amount ofequipment and care accessories neededare, the entire unit can be situatedconveniently close to thepatient.
Our new basic support head generation, which can be positioned as required with ina range of 1,000 mm, provides the bestpossible care for the patient what-ever thechosen course of treatment, offering 3 - 5
level installation possibilities, easily adjust-able equipment consoles and swivel armsto provide infusion, monitoring and respira-tory equipment to the intensive care ward.

The and supply units are produced infull respect of projectconsiderations and are tailor-made tomeet the requirements of the operator. The horizontalsupply baris availablein several standard lengths.
Thanks to this modular assembly, a flexible andof in-built components for power current-,
communication- and medical gas technology on severallevels is made possible.
The medical supply units and comeequipped with safety sockets (230V/16 A withcontrol light)
as well as CEE-sockets (230 V/16 A 3-pole, 400 V/16 A 5-pole) as standard. Number of sockets and type of circuit ofthe build in elements as well as the mains supply will beconsidered according to eachproject.
According to customer specifications further elements canbe built in. An electrical connecting blockis built in at worksand is wired for theelectricalcomponents.
Spacialist firms offer connection facilities for monitors andpatient-monitoring units. It is, however, possible to make
the necessary preparations for the installation of suchdevices (normally made available to )in the medical supply systems , inour factory. The connection of monitoring systems fallsbeyond the service range of , due to
the fact that a higher level of operational safety calls forcables to remain uncut. Plug devices and sockets forcommunication made available toare installed in our factory in accordance with theinstructions of the specificmanufacturers.

Equipment Carrier GW/IW 2500
Equipment Carrier GW/IW 2500range for medical supply systems
Series Moduflex 2500/2600
Equipment carriers for monitoring, breathing apparatus and infusions areproject-oriented in design, enabling you toindividually design your workstation. Thispossibility allows us to arrange your work-ing area optimally, whatever the field ofapplication, chosen course of treatment
or amountof equipment required.
The flexible, height-adjustable equipmentconsoles can be fitted centrally or non-centrally to the vertical high-grade steelcarrier beams. As an additional optiontheequipment console can also be moved toanypointalongthehorizontalaxis.
To arrange the working area to suit yourneeds, hasdeveloped an extensive range of acces-
sories. Thanks to this modular construc-tion, the variable arrangement of yourworkstation can also be adapted at laterdate.
The equipment carrier trolleys, typesand
can be positioned freely along the entirelength of the supply beam and aremechanically braked when stationary. The mechanical brake on the trolley isreleased manually. The equipment car-riers are fitted with adjustable friction
brakes and can be adjusted manually byup to 340 until the required position hasbeenreached.
Socket terminal boxes can be placeduniversally on theequipment carriers.
Modular technology and an extensive pro-gramme of accessories mean that theequipment carrier systems can bedesigned to suit your field of applicationand medicalequipment requirements.

We have the solution:
The modular design concept of the new supporthead generation means that we can offer indi-vidual solutions to suit every type of therapy andconcentration of equipment required.
We offer a range of medical supply unit solutionswhich can be placed next to and connected up to
the patient, and which incorporate possibilities forhigh and low voltage equipment installations andmedicalgas supplies.
The user controlswithwhich tomove the trolley andadjust the basic support head to the right positionfor the patient are fitted in a user-friendly positiondirectlyon the support head or equipment console, depending on themodel.
The modularity of the basic support headgeneration, types and ,means that a wide range of national andinternationallyproducts can be integrated.
Pivoting carrier arm systems can be installed onboth sides for a range of infusion systems fromdifferent manufacturers.

Technical Data and Instructions
Weights, Loads and Additional Loads
The medical supply unit is
manufactured and installed to perform thefunctions for which it was designed and comesunder Equipment Category Type B, ProtectionClass 1, for use in medical beds and functionareas.
The medical supply unit comes ready to install andis manufactured according to the guidelines of
,istestedandmarkedwiththeCEsymbol.
All supplies connected to the system at thecustomers premises are fed into the medicalsupply unit via the ceiling pillars. The interface ofsupplier and customer installations is, dependingon the model, either in the horizontal ceiling pillarsor in the ceiling columns. Maintenance hatchesprovide easy access.
The medical supply unit has been designed toaccept all specialist firm installations available on
the market, taking account of country-specificnorms and technical standards.
Ceiling-suspended medical supply systems arerestricted in the amount of weight they can carrydueto structuralaspects.
The multiple securing points of the Moduflex
systems present an advantage in terms of themomentofload.
All data relevant to a project is submitted forstructural examination andpassed on fortesting.
The maximum load capacity of the trolleys is 150kg.
The maximum additional load for each equipment
carrier or basic support head is calculatedindividuallyforeachproject.
