The Human Rights Center is an independent civil organization (institution), regardless of party affiliation. Its most aim is to legally protect the Hungarians in Vojvodina and to fray out their equality of chance.

• Szerbia a dokumentált esetek sokasága ellenére sem állja útját az erőszaknak – fölháborítóan enyhe ítéletek születnek, sőt legtöbb esetben az elkövetett bűncselekmények következmények nélkül maradnak. Ez a magatartás csak tovább fokozza a különböző etnikumúak közötti feszültséget.

• In spite of the multitude documented cases, Serbia does not keep violence down – shockingly gentle verdicts are brought in, moreover in most cases the committed crimes remain without any result. This attitude only increases further the tension between the different ethnic groups.

• Kishegyes községben a 2007-es pályázaton a tíz pályázó közül öt magyar nemzetiségű volt, ennek ellenére egy magyar nemzetiségű jelentkezőt sem vettek fel, holott a lakosság 55,92 %-a magyar.

• In July 2004 Prime Minister Vojislav Koštunica put forward a suggestion on the establishing of a multiethnic police in the settlements with mixed ethnicities.

• The principal of multi-ethnicity and its practice has not succeeded up to the present day in Vojvodina

• In 2007 in the community of Kishegyes, on the occasion of an opened competition, among ten applicants five people were Hungarians. Even so, not even a Hungarian person was admitted, though 55,92 % of the population is Hungarian.

• 1944-1945-ben a jugoszláv katonai közigazgatás tisztogató osztagai szörnyű népirtást hajtottak végre a Délvidéken - szakértői becslések szerint -, több mint 20 000 (egyes becslések szerint az áldozatok száma elérheti a 40 000–et is) ártatlan magyart végeztek ki. Az elkövetett gaztettekért még egyetlen magas rangú szerbiai politikus sem kért bocsánatot, a hozzátartozóknak nem ítéltek meg kártérítést, a bűnösöket nem vonták felelősségre, nem törölték el a kollektív bűnösség elvét, ráadásul a levéltári archívumokat zárva tartják a tényfeltáró munkát végző kutatók előtt.

• In 1944-1945 the purifier parties of the Yugoslavian military civil service performed a terrible holocaust in Vojvodina. According to the professional estimations, more than 20 000 (according to some estimations the number of victims can reach even 40 000) innocent Hungarians were executed. Never a one Serbian politician of high standing has apologized for the committed foul deeds, the folks have not been adjudicated a relief, the criminals have not been hold responsible, and the principle of the collective culpability has not been abolished, furthermore the archives are locked in front of those people whose job is to reveal the reality.

• Szerbia EU-s csatlakozásának legyen a feltétele az 1944-1945-ben elkövetett délvidéki magyarellenes vérengzések szerb részről történő beismerése, az elkövetett bűncselekmények felkutatása, a kollektív bűnösség eltörlése és a hivatalos bocsánatkérés

• Az EP ad hoc küldöttségének 2005-ös jelentését kiegészítésre javasoljuk az autentikus jogvédő szervezetek dokumentációival, továbbá javasoljuk, hogy a jelentés mihamarabb kerüljön megvitatásra

• Javasoljuk, hogy jöjjön létre egy nemzetközi megfigyelő bizottság, amely monitoring tevékenységet látna el a Délvidéken, állandó jelleggel

• Az esélyegyenlőség és a specifikusság kritériumait figyelembe véve, szubregionális alap létrehozását javasoljuk, amely eredményesebbé tenné a kisebbségi jogvédő szervezetek munkáját a régióban

• Let it be Serbia’s joint term to the European Union to admit the slaughters committed in 1944-1945 against the Hungarians in Vojvodina, to seek out the committed crimes, to abolish the principle of collective culpability and to officially offer apology

• We propose to complete the ad hoc delegation’s report of the European Parliament in 2005 with the documentations of the legitimate legal protector organisations; moreover we suggest the discussion of the report with as little delay as possible

• We recommend to establish such an international observer committee that would constantly handle a monitoring activity

• Having due regard to the equality of access, we propose the establishing of a sub-regional fund that would cause effective work for the minority legal protector organisations in the region
