Electrical engineering applies knowledge of sciences like physics and mathematics .

In addition to general knowledge of Mechanics and Materials Science they are required for the proper use of appropriate materials for each application.

An Electrical Engineer must have basic knowledge of related areas , as many problems encountered in engineering complex and interdisciplinary son.
