現為IKAIKO網上語言學習共同創辦人，從事銀行業多年，於2014年參加計劃後，轉投社企的工作。現正負責推動香港社企發展的項目Impact100，同時也積極籌劃語言教育項目。Katherine Lam is a Co-founder of IKAIKO Online Language Learning. She has worked in the banking industry for years before joining the EFG programme in 2014. Since then she started working in the social enterprise field. She is now working on the Impact100, a project which aims to promote social enterprise development in Hong Kong, as well as her startup on education.

「那時工作了10年，工作除了賺取生活外，意義不大，開始想工作以外還可以做甚麼。機緣之下看到這個課程，覺得能跟我商業背景互補，讓我更加了解如何用商業手法去解決社會問題。在課程中，除了上理論課外，更加有機會在不同的project得到新的經驗，同時從兩位熱血的創辦人身上學習到很多。另外認識了一班理念相近的朋友，很快建立有效的人脈網絡。最大的得着，是跳出了自己的框框，擴大了社交圈子，看到世界其實有很多可能性。」

現為斐尚文化發展有限公司項目經理，從事服裝行業多年，2013年參加計劃後，轉投社企工作。他對青年教育問題充滿熱誠，現正共同創建青年職涯規劃的社會企業。Martin Kwan is a project manager of I Can Fly Development Ltd, a social enterprise focuses on youth career planning. He has been working in the fashion industry for years before joining the EFG programme in 2013. He isnow pursuing a new career in youth education.

「仁人學社擴闊了我對社企生態的視野，焦點不單止香港，透過全球的社企案例分享令我勾劃出一幅充滿希望感的社會願景圖。課程內容的啟發性與實用性兼備，而同學間的背景差異大，於學習上的思維衝擊讓我獲益良多。我在仁人學社的價值與學習氛圍下，深信社企將會是未來對社會作出龐大影響力的一個界別。現在，我放棄了8年的服裝行業經驗，毅然投身一家 致 力 於 青 少 年 職 涯 規 劃 的 社 企 ， 我 衷 心 感 激 仁 人 學 社 及兩位創辦人KK和Rebecca一直以身作則的教導，鼓勵和支持。」

“Education For Good has broadened my horizon in many ways. I was able to learn about successful cases around the world. The programme is inspiring and practical, and I enjoyed the intellectual stimulation among my fellow classmates with diverse backgrounds. I truly believe that social enterprise will be an influential piece to change the world. “At that time, I’ve worked in the bank for 10 years and I did not see too much meaning about my job other than making a living. That’s when I started looking for other possibilities. I learned about the programme at EFG by chance and thought that my business background might help solving social problems. After joining EFG, I was able to get new exposure to new experiences, and learn a lot from the two Co-founders. I have also met a lot of like-minded individuals whom I can call friends now. Most importantly, I got out of my comfort zone and saw a world of possibilities waiting ahead of me.”

「我在2013年和幾位牙醫及專業人士成立香港無障牙科學會，開始面對營運非牟利團體的種種問題，於是努力尋求長遠發展的方案。我在2013社企民間高峰會重遇謝家駒博士，在他鼓勵下參加了這個計劃，正式認識社企，學習成為一個社會創業者。回顧過去一年，我因為參與這個計劃，認識了不少好人好事，理論加上實戰去體驗社企，令我對社企有堅定的信心，實踐所學的理念，服務有需要的社群。我要感謝謝博士，各導師同學給予的指導和支持！希望有更多有心有力的人仕能加入社企行列，令香港更美更好！」

“I founded the Hong Kong Special Care Dentistry Association with a group of dentists and professionals in 2013. At first, we faced problems with starting a non-profit organisation and we started looking for long-term solutions. I reunited with Dr.KK Tse at Social Enterprise Summit 2013 and he encouraged me to join EFG to learn more about social enterprise and becoming a social innovator. Since I joined the programme, I encountered a lot of kind people and good deeds. EFG programme provided me with a good foundation and a boost to my confidence with which I could practice social entre-preneurship in real life and to serve the community that I love. I would like to thank Dr. Tse and the EFG fellows for their support. I hope more people would be joining the social enterprise field and together make Hong Kong a better place!”

現為陽光菓子有限公司創辦人，從事策略性採購多年，於2014年參加「環保社企創業者培育計劃」後，同年創辦社企陽光菓子有限公司，透過本地製作鳳梨酥，為單親媽媽提供平等就業機會。

「由於工作關係，我經常接觸到不同階層的人，多年來明白到基層員工對一間公司的成功有很大的貢獻。如果僱主能給他們平等的機會，他們一樣能夠成功。現在我們僱用了兩位單親媽媽，也希望將來能以部分盈收來贊助單親小孩的教育。」

“Over the years I realized that grassroot workers contributed a lot to the success of a company, and they could succeed if they are given equal opportunities by their employers. We have so far hired 2 single mothers, with a goal to sponsor single family children on education with part of the profits in the future.”

現為香港無障牙科學會聯合創辦人暨名譽秘書。她從事室內建築管理工作多年，於2014年參加計劃後，成立首間以社企形式營運的無障牙科診所。

Susanne Yeung is the founder of Sunshine Fruity. With years of experience in strategic sourcing, she joined the “Green Social Entrepreneur Incubation Programme” in 2014, and then founded Sunshine Fruity, a social enterprise dedicated to ‘provide equal opportunities to single family to shine’ through pineapple cake production.

Ruby Yeung, member of the 2014 Social Entrepreneur Incubation Programme, is the Co-founder and Honorary Secretary of the Hong Kong Special Care Dentistry Association. She has years of working experience in interior construc-tion management. After joining the programme in 2014, she founded a special care dental clinic social enterprise, the first of its kind in Hong Kong.

「慚愧得很，早於八十年代初開始參與社會服務的我，要在2013年中才真正踏上社企之途。當過不同官方機構及民間組織的成員和領導，總覺得每年三、四次的諮詢議政，空有高談闊論；辛苦策辦完的創意活動，卻後續無人。身邊多少公益團體的好友，時刻為籌募經費，苦苦經營。機緣巧合，認識了仁人學社，聽過KK充滿熱情的「八面玲瓏 」分享，社會創業家之夢便在心中熒繞不絕。報讀了「社會企業創業者培育計劃 」，並積極參與計劃。現在可以為「傑出青年協會基金」、「再生慈善基金．社企督導委員會」及「喜動．社區」略盡綿力；課堂的理論、朋輩的網絡丶同業的支持，都化為堅實的基礎，在實踐上產生了莫大的助益。 真的要說聲：「謝謝！」"I started participating in social services back in the early 80s, but I did not embark on the journey of social enterprise until 2013. I had been members and leaders of a wide range of organisations, and it is a shame to see the lack of actions regardless of well-discussed strategies. Many of these projects lack sustainability, instead, they spent lots of time in fundraising and seeking resources. I learned about EFG and KK’s talk on social entrepreneurship by chance. That was when I started thinking about being a social entrepreneur. I then joined the programme at EFG and became an active student. Now I am grateful to be able to contribute to "TOYPA TRUST", "Regeneration Charity Fund" and "Community Leap Limited". I was able to get a solid jump start in building my social enterprise with the help ofsupporting network of my peers. Big thanks to EFG!”

現為公平棧市場發展經理，從事銀行業多年，於2014年參加計劃後，加入了社企公平棧，同時成為「社企投資會」的董事，推動社創投資。Connie Lee joined Fairtaste in 2014 where she now serves as marketing development manager. She was a banking professional before joining the EFG programme in 2014. She is now also the director in Social Investors Club, a social enterprise aims to promote social ventures by providing capital and incubation support to social enterprise startup.

「我的社會企業旅程從2013社企民間高峰會 —「社會企業作為你的第二職業」開始......雖然我最後沒有參加這講座，但它引起了我對用創新手法解決社會問題的社會企業的興趣，並讓我認識及參加了仁人學社的「社會企業創業者培育計劃」。計劃讓我知道每個人都可以改變世界，例如我對投資的興趣讓我參加了社企投資會；我對食物的投入讓我成為社企公平棧和公平貿易的一份子,展開一個有意義的第二事業！」

“My journey in social enterprise began with a talk "Social entrepreneurship as your second career" in Social Enterprise Summit 2013. Although I did not join the talk in the end, it aroused my interest in social enterprises - solving social problems with innovative means. I also joined the programme in Education For Good in which I learned that everyone can be a changemaker - for exam-ple, I joined Social Investors Club because I am interested in investment, and I joined Fairtaste due to my passion in food. Now I am enjoying my meaningful second career!”

現為泛亞社會創新有限公司共同創辦人。他於2013年參加了「社會企業創業者培育計劃」，之後他與志同道合的朋友創立了泛亞社會創新有限公司。他有30年的工業設計、開發、製造的管理經驗，曾當選「香港十大傑出青年」，2009年出任「傑出青年協會」主席。他創建了非牟利機構「文明急救組」關注全球暖化問題，現正與國際環保組織350.org籌辦華人網絡350.org.hk。社會企業方面，剛推出了再生慈善基金「再起行」外展復康服務。Ringo Mak joined the “Social Enterprise Incubation Program” in 2013, and founded APAC SEP Limited with like-minded friends in the end of 2014. With 30 years of industrial design, development, manufacturing management experience, he was awarded "Ten Outstanding Young Persons of Hong Kong" and he served as chairman in the "The Outstanding Young Persons' Associa-tion" in 2009. He founded the advocacy group "SOS Civilization" that focuses on global warming issues and is now working with international environmental organisation 350.org to launch its Chinese extension. He has also just launched a social enterprise - “Walk Again" Outreach Rehabilitation Service.

「我在2013年和幾位牙醫及專業人士成立香港無障牙科學會，開始面對營運非牟利團體的種種問題，於是努力尋求長遠發展的方案。我在2013社企民間高峰會重遇謝家駒博士，在他鼓勵下參加了這個計劃，正式認識社企，學習成為一個社會創業者。回顧過去一年，我因為參與這個計劃，認識了不少好人好事，理論加上實戰去體驗社企，令我對社企有堅定的信心，實踐所學的理念，服務有需要的社群。我要感謝謝博士，各導師同學給予的指導和支持！希望有更多有心有力的人仕能加入社企行列，令香港更美更好！」

“I founded the Hong Kong Special Care Dentistry Association with a group of dentists and professionals in 2013. Susanne Yeung is the founder of Sunshine Fruity. 她本著「拯救被社會誤解的天才，為他們打開一扇跨越障礙的窗，讓社會看到天才的另一面優勢」的使命，致力把中山服務拓展到洛陽。她和團隊著重解決家長對孩子成績差的擔憂、焦慮及以此衍生出的其他家庭問題。希望在五年內能成為河南省的社企標杆，並在自負盈虧的前提下，有一定的盈餘可用於支付和維持30個社工待遇的發展規模。郭曉利女士在未來大學畢業後成為重點學員之一，她的項目－「洛陽市陽光社會工作服務中心」剛奪得第二屆博愛公益創投活動A級項目，並獲得香港明愛為期三年的專項項目資金贊助。

香港復康會的33名員工於2015年參加了「精益創業于善」課程。他們組了5隊團隊發展新服務計劃，而其中一個計劃主力改善該會的水中物理治療服務。他們已成功推出了一個MVP（最低成本可行產品）試驗特定的顧客群。

「我們的同事學習了精實創業的技巧，希望他們可以利用這個新方法為機構不同的項目帶來革新。同事們期望可以多參考其他機構的精實創業成功案例，掌握要訣，再學以致用。」

“Our colleagues learned the concepts of Lean Startup methodology and we hope that this new method can be used throughout the organisation for programme innovation. We look forward to learning more successful cases from organisations that have mastered the Lean Startup technique and put it into practice.”

現為洛陽市陽光社會工作服務中心理事長和總幹事，一直在中山為讀寫障礙兒童服務。她於2015年參加未來大學，深信成功的社會企業家需要不斷學習。

郭曉利 Guo Xiaoli

The Hong Kong Society for Rehabilitation香港復康會

With a mission to “liberate the child prodigies that were underrated, open up a window for them to overcome difficulties, and educate the society about this group”, she expanded the service from Zhongshan to Luoyang. Guo and her team focus on the anxiety of parents and related problems derived from their childrens’ academic underperformance. Guo hopes to build a self-sustainable social enterprise model with up to 30 social workers in Henan within 5 years.

Guo became FutureU fellow after graduation. Her project just won the Social Venture Award in China as well as a 3-year sponsorship from Caritas Hong Kong.

Xiaoli Guo is currently the Director and Executive Director of Luoyang Sunshine Social Service Work Centre, serving children with dyslexia inZhongshan. She joined the FutureU in 2015.

33 staffs from The Hong Kong Society for Rehabilitation have joined the ‘Lean Startup for Social Good’ programme in 2015. They have formed 5 Lean Startup teams working to develop new service projects, and one of which is focused on improving their aquatic therapy service. They have successfully created one MVP (minimum viable product) to test a specificcustomer segment.

The Hong Kong Society for Rehabilitation香港復康會

With a mission to “liberate the child prodigies that were underrated, open up a window for them to overcome difficulties, and educate the society about this group”, she expanded the service from Zhongshan to Luoyang. Guo and her team focus on the anxiety of parents and related problems derived from their childrens’ academic underperformance. Guo hopes to build a self-sustainable social enterprise model with up to 30 social workers in Henan within 5 years.

Guo became FutureU fellow after graduation. Her project just won the Social Venture Award in China as well as a 3-year sponsorship from Caritas Hong Kong.
