• PWA, a national water operator with 228 waterworks, seeks support tostrengthen its water loss management approach and to improve waterquality management
• Ranhill addresses water losses and implements a robust water qualitymanagement program in Johor, Malaysia
• PWA and Ranhill partner to introduce the water balance, buildunderstanding of water loss management, demonstrate practicalsolutions to monitor and reduce leakages, improve treatment processes
and maintain chlorine residual in PWA’s Nakorn Nayok Waterwork• Activities to date: 7 training events in PWA, 2 site visits to Ranhill
• Results: 100+ staff trained; training modules and manager’s guidelines
for water loss management distributed throughout PWA’s network;

• MJP, a state water utility, seeks support to enable and sustaincontinuous water supply in Badlapur (a town of 150,000 near Mumbai)using the water loss management approach
• Ranhill provides continuous water supply and effectively manageswater losses in Johor, Malaysia
• MJP and Ranhill cooperate in Badlapur to conduct water balance,establish district zones, apply network hydraulic models, detect andaddress leakages, manage pressure and flow
• Activities to date: 4 training events in MJP, 3 site visits to Ranhill,networking with equipment vendors
• Results: 64,000 people in 13 zones (16 wards) in Badlapur now havecontinuous supply
