    General objective:

    This course helps students develop the skills needed to communicate successfully on the job with emphasis on reading strategies, analytical

    thinking, discussion and oral presentation. Topics integrated throughout the course include global communications, business topics, and

    business related issues. Throughout the course, the student will study the rhetorical principles and writing practices necessary for producing

    effective business letters, memos, reports, and collaborative projects in professional contexts. The curriculum guided by the needs and practices

    of business, industry, and society at large.
