TeKuraKaupapaMāorioteParehuiaisakurateinaestablishedin2016underthemantleofTeKKMoRuamata,located in Mahia, Hawkes Bay. We are a Te Aho Matua special character school enveloped in our iwi ofRongomaiwahine.We currently have a roll of 14 students ranging from year 1 to year 5 alongside a full0mekaiawhina and experienced 0muaki. Our kura whānau is highly mo0vated and engaged in our kaupapa, ourhaukaengaandthelearningneedsofourākonga.
Thewairuaofourkuraiswarm,posi0veandpurposeful.OurkurareliesonthemutualsupportofthewhānauandthewiderkuracommunityinvolvedinMāorieduca0on.OurkuraisbasedonsixmataponothatstemfromTeAhoMatuaandourRongomaiwahinetanga;OrangaTangata,OrangaReo,OrangaIwi,OrangaTaiao,OrangaWanangaandOrangaWhakahaere.Thesemataponoarethefounda0onofourkuragovernanceandmanagement,leadbyourwhanauofTeParehuia.
