IMPACT of the PROGRAM
Dear Professor Ikeda, I think there are two important matters to bear in mind with regard to the proposed relocation of the Tadoku book section of the East Asian Library. The first is that this book section is quite small; it does not significantly limit the presence of any other book section in the East Asian Library. In its current position within the East Asian Library it does not negatively impact the rest of the collections in any way. If something is not an impediment it should be allowed to remain where it is. The second matter concerns the number of students for whom the Tadoku book section is intended. In its current position the Tadoku book section provides many Japanese Language students with direct access to necessary materials with little foot traffic, thus allowing classes to be held at the East Asian Library while keeping the noise level to a
