The many different religious backgrounds of individuals celebrated on campus marks diversity and Inclusive Excellence at DU
Difference in economic background also contributes to diversity, especially on the University of Denver campus. Many students must work part or full-‐Eme jobs in addiEon to their studies to conEnue their educaEon

One on campus Living and Learning Community deals with educaEon and acEon around Social JusEce issues
Part of celebraEng Inclusive Excellence at DU includes the annual FesEval of NaEons
Students from years past who have signed the Pioneer Pledge, which includes a pledge to “respect different ideas, people and opinions”
The residence halls stress Inclusive Excellence by honoring important days and fesEvals in other cultures. For instance, they recently prepared a Mid-‐Autumn FesEval meal to celebrate one of the most important fesEval dates in China.
This gender inclusive “family” restroom, one of 14 on campus, is located in Nagel Residence Hall
