Stephan Wolf, Alexander Zosel und Thomas Senkel haben das Modell erdacht, mehrfach praesentiert und in der Wirtschaft Anklang gefunden ­ 2011 erhielten sie den Charles­Lindbergh­Preis für Innovation und werden mit 2 Mio. € vom Wirtschaftsministerium d.Bundes gefoerdert: statt umstaendlicher Bedienungsmechanik wird das System per Joystick bedient, die Aero­ dynamik automatisch angepasst. U.a. entfaellt die beim Helikopter so komplexe Regulierung der Rotoren. Sicherheitssysteme, Mehrfachakkus und Fallschirm seien fuer den Notfall an Bord. Mit einer Gesamtmasse von 450 kg hält sich die Maschine derzeit etwa 30 min. in der Luft, im Vorwärtsflug auch länger, nach Verbesserung der Akku­Leistung hoffe man auf eine Flugdauer bis zu 1 Stunde mit einer Strecke von 40 km.
