Dream Campus Guide (for students) 2013/Oct/01

I. What is Dream Campus? Dream Campus is Toyohashi Tech’s total academic affairs system. You can register classes, check your credits, and search for a syllabus through dream campus. Dream Campus can be accessed only inside the campus.

1) To register your classes

→You can register directly during the registration period.

2) To check and amend your class registration

→You can check your class registration anytime and print it out.

You can also amend your registration during the registration period.

3) To check your credits

→You can check your credits anytime through Dream Campus.

4) To search syllabus and other information

→You can search and read a syllabus anytime.

II. Notes

*Places you can access Dream Campus

You can access Dream campus inside the campus only;

Lecture Room B-206, Information and Media Center, Center for International Relations, and

University Library

(You cannot access from International House or from Student Dormitories.)

Dream Campus is still written in Japanese only.

So please read this guide carefully and if you have any questions, please ask.

III. How to Login

Access https://www.ead.tut.ac.jp/portal/

This page is available for students of Toyohashi University of Technology only.

1. Enter your TUT Account and password. *TUT’s account and password is given by Information and Media Center during the orientation. Please change your password after login for your security.

2. Click [ログイン] to login.

V-1 Check your student status [学籍情報照会] When you click this, the warning “Your personal information will be shown. Please be aware of your

privacy.” is shown.

If it is OK, then click [表示]

This is how you are registered on university’s system. If something is wrong or needs to be amended, please come to Academic Affairs Section.

V-2 Check your academic results and credits [成績照会]

Choose either your academic results or your credits

V-3 Check your registration and your class schedule [履修時間割]

Your personal schedule is shown after your registration.

V-4 Class Registration [履修登録] For the first time you access, you will find blank schedule of yours, and you can add your classes by clicking [追加] of each period and date.

When you click [追加], the list of classes is popped up.

*Classes of International Degree Programs are shown in English. **To register classes from other department, an application to take subjects must be submitted.

To see the list you registered To see your class calendar (Default)

Click [追加] to select class

Left to right: Monday to Saturday

Classes of your department (Default)

Classes from other departments *Application must be submitted to Academic Affairs Division

Classes of bachelor’s course

Click [追加] to add this class Click [閉じる] to close this window

Left to right: Course, Schedule code, Semester, Title of Class, Professor, [追加] for adding, Number of credits

Click title to see syllabus

Click to confirm your registration

When you add class, your new schedule is shown.

Instead of [追加] to add class, [削除] button to delete will be shown below the class you add.

When you click [削除], you can remove the subject from your registration.

*You can amend your registration anytime during the designated registration periods. However, we

cannot accept your request of amendment after the periods.

When you add all classes you want to take, click [確認画面へ] to confirm your registration.

*There are two buttons of [確認画面へ] to make confirmation. They are the same.

*Your registration is not yet completed. When you add all classes you want to take, click [確認画面へ] to confirm your registration.

Click [確認画面へ] to confirm your registration

Click [削除] to delete this subject

Click [確認画面へ] to confirm your registration

Intensive classes and thesis research classes are shown on the bottom.

If there is no error, green and calm schedule is shown.

So scroll to the bottom and click [確認] to complete your registration.

If something is wrong, red warning is shown.

You need to click [削除] to remove the subject, or come to Academic Affairs Division to submit the application to take classes from other department.

*If you have any enquiries, please come to Academic Affairs Division.

Click [確認] to complete your class registration

Click [編集画面へ戻る] to amend your registration

When the all registration is successfully done, you will see the confirmation.

*Please don’t forget to re-confirm your registration by checking [V-3] Check your registration and

your class schedule.

V-5 Change your password [パスワード変更] Change your log-in password through the web page of Information and Media Center.

Click [トップページ] to go back to your portal page

Click [ログアウト] to log out and end your action

V-6 Syllabus Search [シラバス検索] When you click “シラバス検索” of the menu list, syllabus search window is shown.

This page is also accessible from the university’s home page.

Search result is shown. Click [Details] for individual class window.

Choose your language

Select “English Course”

Click “Retrieve” to search
