citizenship on a global level; ethical disposition which guide understanding of local/global individuals and groups and of their relative responsibilities within different communities

Global problems: problems that happen worldwide

racism, discrimination environmental pollution economic loss

Caste system of India

Hindu caste system: social hierarchy in India; believed among Indians that it keeps order in communities by putting individuals into places

Today: Indian government is trying to create equality between groups, but caste system is still in use

Fish Over-slaughter

2005, UN food & agriculture organization reported that 70% of fish species were being overexploited

industrial overexploitation of fish, just for benefits that is unnecessary

Zimbabwe Inflation

Zimbabwe: country located in southern part of Africa

inflation cause: government printing out too much money for its own needs

hyperinflation’s effects: about 70% of workers became jobless, need much more money to maintain life
