Dodgeball is planning sport game for younger school age. Role of each team is drain the opponent players and dodging before discharge.

Teams play on the volleyball court with the size of 9 x 18 m. Around the field there is space at least 1.5 meters.

We use the volleyball ball.

Each team consists of twelve players. Every player and team captain have one „life“ and they have jerseys with numbers.

There are three referees – main referee and two side referees.

A match has two half-times. Every half-time has seven minutes. There is three minutes break between them.

HandBallHandBallHandball is favourite sport in our town. Two teams play in this game. There are six players + goalkeeper in one team. The most successful team is HK Danlog Partizánske.

Since 1954 the women handball team from Partizánske was four times champion of Czechoslovakia, once Slovak champion,winner of the Czechoslovak Cup and three times winner of the Slovak Cup.

Zdeno Chára #33 Zdeno Chára was born in March 18th 1977. He is a Slovak professional ice hockey defenseman. He is the captain of the Boston Bruins. He is the first person from Slovakia who won Stanley Cup as a captain.

Jaroslav Halák #41Jaroslav Halák was born in May 13th 1985. He is a Slovak professional ice hockey goalkeeper. Currently plays for the St. Louis Blues, he played in Montreal Canadiens for long time in NHL.

Stan Mikita #21Stanislav "Stan" Mikita was born on 20th May 1940. He is a Slovak professional ice hockey center. In 1961, he won the Stanley Cup with the Chicago Blackhawks. He is a Slovak but he played for Canada.
