-No compensantes : son aquellos que proporcionan caudales diferentes al
variar la presión en la entrada del emisor.- Autocompensantes : son los que, dentro de los límites de presión fijadospor el fabricante, mantienen un caudal prácticamente constante . Al intervalode presiones para las cuales el emisor se comporta como autocompensantese le denomina intervalo de compensación.
