ThisyearMississippianswillchoosetheirnextCEOofthestate. Weneedsomeonewithjobcreation
experienceandprivatesectorleadershiptobringnewinvestmenttothestate,expandourcurrent
businesses,improve
our
schools,
and
make
government
smaller
and
more
efficient
so
individual
Mississippiansandtheprivatesectorcangrowinprosperity,Dennissaid.
Hecontinued,WhenKirkFordiceannouncedhiscampaignforreelectionfrommyfrontyard,hesaid
nooneshouldrunforpublicofficeuntiltheyhavesignedthefrontsideofapayrollcheck. Ihavethat
experience. Inmybusinesswemakepayrolleveryweek,wehavetocontaincosts,andwehavetogrow
ouropportunities. Mississippiwillneedthatsameleadership:governmentmustmeetitsresponsibilities
effectively,betrimmedtosavetaxpayerdollars,andallowtheprivatesectortogrowtoexpand
opportunitiesforeveryindividual,familyandworkerinMississippi.
