DIARY ENTRY

It was Saturday 21 of July. I slept very soundly last night. It must have been because of the

futsal match yesterday evening. Fendy, Amir and I with few of my friends represented our

school. We had a friendly match with SMK La Salle. It was an interesting game indeed. We

finally won the match.

I woke up at 7 a.m. today, bathed and had a plate of fried rice for breakfast.

Yummy! It’s very delicious. Thanks Mum for the tasty fried rice. I’m so lucky because Mum

is such a great cook.

After having my breakfast, about 8 a.m., I watched television. My favourite Korean

series, of course. Today’s episode was quite touching. The hero had to left his girlfriend

because his mother dislikes her. Hope this situation would never be happened in my life.

An hour later, at 9 a.m., Daddy asked me to accompany him visited our

neighbour, Uncle Lim. He had just discharged from the hospital after met with an accident.

His left leg fractured and both his hands had slightly injured. Today, he looked better after a

week staying in the hospital. We just brought some fruits and biscuits for him. I hope Uncle

Lim will have speedy recovery.

When we reached home, my sister, Lili was getting ready to go out. Then only I

remember that I promised her something. So, I quickly put on my Polo shirt and jeans. At

10.30 a.m., I went to the Mall with my sister, Lili to shop for Ram’s birthday present.

Ram is our cousin and she will turn 17 next week. We took the LRT straight to the Mall.

Lili wanted to buy perfume but I told her to buy something that will last longer. Finally, both

of us agreed to buy her a book since Ram’s hobby is reading. We bought a story book from

the best selling author, Danielle Steel. We also bought a few books for our studies.

After getting a nice, beautiful birthday card for Ram, I had lunch with Lili at food

court at 1.00 p.m. Lili ordered a plate of chicken rice and orange juice while I had a fried

mee ‘Mamak’ style with carrot juice. We went back right after lunch.

Once I reached home, I bathed and changed my clothes. At 3 p.m., I took a nap.

Huh! What a relief.

I woke up at 4.30 p.m. and was getting ready with my swimming wear, goggles and

cap in my bag. Daddy sent me to the Municipal Pool, Petaling Jaya at 5 p.m. for my

swimming lessons. Today I learnt a new skill, butterfly stroke, which I found it very

interesting.

The swimming class ended about one and half hour. Daddy already waiting for me at

the parking bay. I took my bath at 7 p.m. and changed to pyjamas. Then, I watched news

on television. I always watched news in order to know about the current issues and get the

latest information.

Mum called us for dinner at 8 p.m. We had our dinner together. This is the time

that I loved most because I can talk and share anything about my school and friends with my

family. Tonight, Mum prepared my favourite dish. Chicken chop with salads and black

pepper sauce. It’s very scrumptious! I thanked Mum for the lovely dinner.

At 8.30 p.m., it’s time for me to revise the lessons and did assignment. Next week

it’s very challenging for me. I have Mathematics quiz on 24 of July, Physics on 25 of July

and Biology on 27 July. Apart from that, the deadline for Chemistry assignment is on

Thursday, 26 of July. I hope I can score all the quizzes and get good grade for my

assignment.

Before going to bed, I surfed the internet at 11 p.m. I just checked on my Facebook

wall and was very surprised when I got the news that one of my friends drowned while

having a picnic with his family this morning. May he rest in peace because he was such a

nice and diligent friend.

It was already 12 p.m. and I was really felt sleepy. So, I went to bed. Another

hectice day today! Hope tomorrow is better than today.
