International Maritime Organization (IMO) developed “International Hong Kong Convention (HKC) for the Safe and Environmentally Sound Recycling of Ships”. The EU Ship Recycling Regulation entered into force on 30 December 2013. The purpose of both HKC and EU SRR is that vessels of 500 GT and over should carry an Inventory of Hazardous Materials (IHM).

Achievements In a short time of 6 months, developed the Carbon Market for GLC in Turkey and Pakistan. Now DNV GL has contractual relationship with clients like, Future Camp Turkey, GTE, Mavi Consultants, SerCarbon, EN-CEV, Enerjisa, GAIA carbon Finance and Borga Carbon. These clients have almost 80% projects in Carbon Voluntary Market. Clients from Pakistan are like Carbon Services private, UPM are now with DNV GL. These clients cover the 60% of CDM registered projects in Pakistan. Brought in the revenues of around 160 thousands € only from Turkey and Pakistan in short period of five months.
