to coating application. Insuring environmental conditions (dew point, relative humidity, metal temperature) as per

procedure. Blast clean material (garnet, slag, shots, grit etc) is as per procedure requirement & its storage is

maintained as per manufactures recommendations. Witness blotter test to insure contamination free compressed air. Surface cleanliness grade & profile is achieved using testex, press-o-film & profile is free from slivers,

laps, laminations, sharp edges, dust, dirt etc. Witness chloride content test. Areas not to be coated are masked prior to coating. Elapse time between blasting & coating is maintained. Coating material used is under shelf life & mixing is done as per manufacturing recommendation. Coating application & thickness achieved is as per procedure/manufacture recommendation. Insuring calibration & validation of the equipments used for thickness measurement. Performing visual inspection to insure even coverage, uniform appearance, colour, gloss of the coating

applied & that coating is free of irregularities like sags, runs, blisters, fish eyes, bubbles, puckers,voids, wrinkles, breaks etc.
