We usually adjust the EDID timing in this page. User can select the default resolution

from the list for testing. (Most of LCD panels only need to modify the setting on this

page)

If the user uses a panel with special spec, please choose a similar resolution and

select the “Set manually” item to adjust the detail EDID timing.

(For most of LCD panels, we only need to adjust below setting that marked as red)

Pixel Clock = Hor. Total * Ver. Total * Frame Rate

HA= Hor. Active; HB = Hor. Blanking; HSO = Hor. Sync Front porch;

HSPW = Hor. Sync Pulse Width; HB = Hor. Border

VA= Ver. Active; VB = Ver. Blanking; VSO = Ver. Sync Front porch; VSPW = Ver. Sync

Pulse Width; VB = Ver. Border

Step6. Flash the bin file into EEPROM.

Select the tab “CH7511B Image Copy”, and press the button “Options” to select the

interface for flashing EEPROM.

Choose the “DP AUX” item for flashing the EEPROM. **

**For AMD platform

User can access the AMD DP AUX directly after the graphic driver is installed.

**For Intel platform

Before user access the EEPROM through Intel DP AUX, please install the driver for the

current OS.

Press the button “Import” to import the bin file that for the customize panel.

And press the button “Flash” to complete the process of EEPROM flashing.

After flashed the EEPROM, it need to restart the system to check the panel output.

**If there is still cannot show the correct image on the panel, please go back to Step4

to create a new image to adjust the EEPROM. User should try to adjust the value of

Pixel Clock & HA & VA for testing first.

[Noted]

1. The modified EEPROM can be verified in POST stage, after getting into OS, to

show the modified resolution depends on the driver.

2. If user failed to change the panel timing for other existed resolution, please

flash back to the original bin file.
