Nature of Work:
For the first time in Karnataka, intensive survey of the potential dam sites, canal
drops, anicuts were done for the micro-hydel power generation.

Wind Tunnel experiments were conducted for the axial flow turbine performances
as well as pump turbines (‘S’ shaped blades). A professional report was
submitted to the KSCST, IISc.
Testing of novel materials for various engineering applications.
OTHER INTERACTIONS
i) Performing Artiste and Musicologist – Karnataka Classical Music (Veena)
Have been performing in the various prestigious sabhas, organizations and have
delivered lecture demonstrations on various aspects of music and musicology at
State and National Levels.
Have done extensive Research and Development work on Tambura, Veena,
Mrudangam and Ghatam, improvising the design, manufacturing techniques; thus
optimizing the sound production with due regards to the cost and aesthetics.
These have won high acclaim from the stalwarts in the music field.
ii) R & D on Ancient Indian Scientific, Technical & Mathematical Literature.
Active participation in the National and International Level Seminars, Conferences, etc.
and have presented number of papers. Software packages for under graduate and
professional level (based on Ancient Indian Mathematics) catering to the competitive
examinations and computer based numerical methods, are being developed. These are
unique of their kind in the World.
Books and Monograms on the above subjects are under preparation.
iii) R & D on Homoeopathy & Ayurveda
Have been engaged in R&D work since 14 years on various pharmaceutical methods and
other concepts, diagnosis etc. guided by eminent doctors. A Computer based Decision
Supporting System (DSS) on Diabetes, the first of its kind is being developed. For the
first time “Plant Vaccine” has been developed and successfully applied in the areas of
Botany and Agriculture. Awarded Ph.D. in Homoeopathy in November 1999 by the
International Open University for Complementary Medicines (Alma-ata, 1962),
Colombo. Presently a Consultant Homoeopath.

As a CGB Member and the President (1993) of Bangalore Junior Chamber
(affiliated to IJC & JC International), I have carried out many successful projects
in the areas of Individual and Community Development. Number of Merit
Certificates and Awards have been conferred. Presently an EXCEL Graduate of
JCI, Florida, USA (2000) and an International Trainer.
