Author of over 400 publications in national and international journals. He is also author of six text books including a manual of Hygiene and Public Health for medical faculties, a text of "Hygiene and Social Medicine" for the Faculty of Humanities, a text "General hygiene of school and sport "and a manual of health organization and planning. Founder of the National Observatory for the Health of the Italian Regions and Director of the “Osservasalute” Report. He is co-editor of a book of Italian Biostatistics Epidemiology and Preventive Medicine. The scientific activity is documented by more than 400 publications of collaborators. He has been speaker and assistant supervisor at numerous national and international conferences in his own fields of interest.
