Abbreviations: sl st slip stitch ch chain sc single crochet dc double crochet tc treble crochet rnd round To Make: Starting with pink yarn, slip knot onto hook and ch6. sl st to the first ch to form a ring. Rnd 1: ch3 (to count as first dc) then 15 dc in the ring (16 dc in total). Join to the top of ch3 with a sl st and fasten off. Rnd 2: Attach yellow yarn and ch4 (counts as first tc). tc in the same stitch. Work 2tc between the next dc from the previous round. Continue the round working 2tc between each dc from the previous round (32 tc in total). Join the round with a sl st into the top of ch4 and fasten off. Rnd 3: Attach blue yarn and ch3 (counts as first dc). 2dc in the same space and complete the round working 3dc in the spaces after every two tc from the previous round (making 48 dc in total). Join the round with a sl st to the top of ch3 and fasten off. Rnd 4: Attach green yarn and ch1. Sc in each stitch around (48 sc in total). Join the round with a sl st into ch1 and fasten off. Rnd 5: Attach red yarn in the first sc and ch3. dc in the same stitch then ch1. Skip one sc then 2dc in the next sc. *Ch1, skip one sc then 2dc in the next sc. Repeat from * to the end of the round. Join the round with a sl st into the top of ch3 and fasten off. Rnd 6: Attach purple yarn in a ch1 space from the previous round and ch3. Work 2dc in the same chain space. Work 3dc in the next chain space and in each remaining chain space of the round. Join the round with a sl st into the top of ch3 and fasten off. Rnd 7: Join yellow yarn and ch1. Sc in each stitch around. Join the round with a sl st into ch1 and fasten off. Rnd 8: Attach green yarn into one sc from the previous round and ch3. dc into the same stitch then ch1. Skip one sc then 2dc in the next sc. *Ch1, skip one sc then 2dc in the next sc. Repeat from * to the end of the round. Join the round with a sl st into the top of ch3 and fasten off.

Rnd 9: Attach blue yarn and work as for rnd 6, working 3dc into each chain space from the previous round and join round with a sl st as previously. Rnd 10: Attach red yarn and work as for rnd 8, working a sc into each stitch from the previous round. Rnd 11: Take the inner ring from your embroidery hoop and work a sc into each sc from the previous round and incorporate the ring by inserting taking your hook behind and under the ring and into the stitch from the previous round. Wrap the yarn over and pull the hook back out and over to the top of the ring, wrap the yarn over the hook and pull through to complete the stitch. Repeat around to attach the mandala to the ring. Finishing

Sew in all loose ends neatly. Attach the outer ring from the embroidery hoop and hang from a sunny window.
