IMASENは1932年、自動車用電気式警音器（ナイトホーン）の国産化に成功、1939年に株式会社として設立以来、日本のモー

タリゼーションの進展とともに成長し、自動車メーカーのよきパートナーとして、今日の信頼と実績を着実に築いてまいりま

した。

しかしながら、昨今の自動車業界を取り巻く環境は、グローバル化の進展に伴い、めまぐるしい変化が続いています。

IMASENではこれをチャンスの時と捉え、これまでの実績に満足することなく絶ゆまぬ変革を進めており、今まさに一層の飛

躍を遂げようとしています。

In 1932, IMASEN succeeded in the domestic production of electronic alarm horns (Knight Horn) for automobiles. Since

becoming established as a publicly traded corporation in 1939, we have grown along with the expansion of motorization in

Japan, and carefully built our current level of reliability and performance as a good partner for automobile manufacturers.

However, due to continued globalization, the automotive industry continues to be subjected to a series of whirlwind changes.

At IMASEN, we believe this is our chance to press forward with innovations, rather than rest on our laurels, and are therefore

aspiring to make further significant leaps forward.

Keeping in mind the spirit of “Quality products, Competitive prices, and Timely delivery” at the time or company was founded,

The evolution of electronics is enriching our car life.

Seat adjusters from IMASEN are important functional

components to provide both safety and comfort for passeangers.

Based on the integration of the mechanic technologies

cultivated here along with the electronic technologies

cultivated with relays, we are developing mechatronics

products that will provide new “safety” and “comfort”

within the vehicle cabin.

IMASENではより良い品質管理を目指して、

1997年8月にISO9001、1999年10月には

アメリカ自動車産業BIG3が要求している

QS-9000の認証を取得してきました。

さらに2004年2月には自動車業界における品質管理の

世界標準規格であるISO/TS16949の認証を取得し、

自動車メーカーおよびユーザーの要求と信頼に

応えられるよう、品質マネジメントシステムの維持、

一層の向上に努めています。

In its pursuit for better quality management, IMASEN

acquired ISO9001 certification in August 1997 and

QS-9000 certification, which is required by the “Big 3”

U.S. automakers, in October 1999. Furthermore, in

order to further raise quality in response to the

demands of automakers and users, it secured

ISO/TS16949 certification, which is regarded as the

world standard for quality control in the automotive

industry, in February 2004 and is striving to build and

improve its quality management system.

研究開発に関する設備面の充実として、

新たな試験棟（第1試験棟）を設置いたしました。

新法規に対応するためのランプの配光試験室を

主体とし、あわせて工場内に散在していた

各種試験機能を集約化することで、

試験･検査作業を効率化、製品の開発スピードの向上を

目指します。

We established a new test center ( The first test center )

to enhance our research and development at our

Nagoya plant .

We intend to use new facility as a test room for lamp

light-distribution conforming with the new law.

Besides that, we aim to increase efficiency of test and

checking process and acceralate developing speed

with integrating several test-sections in one area.

IMASEN’s manufacturing philosophy is “the world’s highest quality at the lowest cost.”

IMASEN uses an integrated production system that includes research and development,

design, prototyping, die jig and specialized equipment design, stamping, welding,

machining, surface treatment, molding, and assembly. We are pursuing the automation

of facilities and flexible product switching, while striving to expand efficiency and total

engineering in regards to manufacturing.

IMASENグループの将来を担うマザー工場として2007年6月より稼働しました。

大型プレス機の導入によって内製率を高めたプレス工程に始まり、

同期生産ラインを採用した溶接、塗装、組立工程までの一貫生産体制を構築しており、

中間在庫の削減、省人を図るほか、品質確認工程の導入による品質改善などを

織り込んだシートアジャスタの最新鋭工場です。

ここで築いた生産ノウハウをグローバル拠点に展開しています。

This plant was opened in June 2007 as the mother plant for the future of the

IMASEN group.

We introduced large stamping machines for improved stamping efficiency,

established an integrated production system with a synchronous production line

for welding, painting, and assembly, reduced intermediate stock, and reduced

personnel. In addition, we introduced a quality confirmation process to create a

state-of-the-art plant for the production of high-quality seat adjusters.

We will spread the production know-how developed at this plant to all of our

business locations around the world.
