SUMMER 2020

Welcome from RICHMOND CONTINUING EDUCATION Dear Parents and Students,During this COVID-19 pandemic, we have had to change the scope and method of instruction in Summer Learning in order to ensure the health and safety of students, parents, staff and the community in general.

For the first time, Summer Learning 2020 courses will use Zoom as its main tool for remote-online instruction. Other online tools and resource will also be used.

Therefore, students will be required to have their own electronic device with a camera (i.e. tablet or laptop). Also, students will need to be available to engage with their teachers and classmates during the dates and times of courses

Summer Learning 2020 programs will offer a wide variety of remote-online learning opportunities for school age students from Grade 1 to Grade 12:

• Academic Full Credit Grade 10-12• Enrichment Grades 1-7 Non-Credit• Enrichment Grades 8-12 Non-Credit• Summer Exploration Grades 1-6• Summer Fine Arts Grades 1-6

I hope that you find something that is of interest and join over 4,000 school age students in Summer Learning 2020!!

Stay safe and take care,Michael Khoo Director of Instruction
