What is Career Guidance? 什麼是事業輔導？

“Career guidance refers to services (服務) and activities (活動) intended to assist individuals, of any age and at any point throughout their lives, to make educational, training and occupational choices and to manage their careers (為升學及職業作出選擇). …The activities…include career information (資訊) provision (in print, ICT-based and other forms), assessment (評估) and self-assessment tools, counseling (輔導面談) interviews, career education programmes (教育計畫) (to help individuals develop their self-awareness, opportunity awareness, and career management skills), taster (體驗活動) programmes (to sample options before choosing them), work search programmes, and transition services (過渡期間的適切服務).” (from “Career Guidance: A Handbook for Policy Maker”, OECD:2004)
