Sewage Treatment Technology As dealing with up-to-date technology, Al Maymanah offers the Biological Rotating Discs (BRD) systems from “BIOCLEAN – Germany”, an advanced & compact system of sewage treatment which treats the sewage completely and efficiently.

As stated by Prof. H. H. Hahn, the president of German Wastewater Association (ATV) which is introducing the German Standards for wastewater: “The Rotating Biological Contacts presents the best available sewage treatment technology“. This system consists of a series of closely opened circular disks of polypropylene submerged in wastewater and rotated slowly at a rate of 5 r.p.mthrough it. In operation, biological growth becomes attached to the surface of the discs and eventually forms a slime layer over the entire wetted surface of the disks. The rotation of



the disks alternately contacts the biomass with the organic material in the wastewater and then with the atmosphere for adsorption of oxygen. The disc rotation is also the mechanism for removing excess solids from the discs by shearing forces it creates and maintaining the sloughed solids suspension so they can be carried from the unit to a clarifier (Lamella Separator). In the secondary stage, the clarified water is chlorinated and further filtered in a media filter to 20 – 40 micron ranges to provide clear, odorless water suitable for reuse.



Advantages Of B.R.D. System: Variation of flow rate System can accommodate low flow rates, w/o minimum limitation and can

accommodate shock loads as high as 300% of its designed capacity. Odor-free: The oxygen saturation introduced by this system eliminates the smell, making it

odor-free. Biomass The Biomass rests on the discs, which rotates @ 5 - 7 RPM and does not requires

introduction of oxygen on the sewage. This increases the treatment efficiency. Oxygen Introduction In hot climates, the solubility of oxygen in water decreases, which effects the

efficiency of other systems, while in RBC systems the biomass takes the oxygen from direct contact with air in addition to the dissolved oxygen in water and hence treats more efficiently.

Noiseless The RBC systems do not make any noise. Running Cost Power consumption of operating the RBC system is very less. Also the system is

almost maintenance free and requires minimal manpower supervision. Space Requirement Requires tanks of smaller capacities when compared with other systems and hence,

savings in civil works and land. Outlook It will be seen as a part of the building and has a good outlook, while the others are

not pleasing in appearance. Can also be installed underground Sludge Produced The sludge produced by BRD is much less than produced by other systems. (1/2 -

1/3) Wastage of biomines In RBC system, the biomines is saved on the discs, while in other systems it goes

with the treated water and is not used again.

Storing water is of vital importance, as bad storage will contaminate even the best water supplies. Al Maymanah offers an excellent storage medium through its GRP Panel type Water Tanks from “HI-TANK – KOREA” widely used for applications such as residential complexes, buildings, hospitals, industries and any other water storage application.

Perfect Strength &durability Hi Tank is designed to withstand the Horizontal seismic intensity to

survive the specific oscillation frequency of the earthquake waves with the advantages of SMC(Sheet Molding Compound) Panels. It is protected from corrosion and rust because stainless and special nylon#11 coated steel are used for the inside part. The outside metal structure is hot dip galvanized.

Complete Drainage The dome shaped bottom panel with a concave drain panel

Sanitation Hi-tank keeps water clean and hygienic. The panels made by

SMC(Sheet Molding Compound) method of gray color allow absolutely no light transmission on the surface of the panels and prevent algae

Watertightness The joints sealed with special sealing tape especially developed for

HI TANK with long experience and technology on SMC products. It maintains soft itself and adhesives even at low temperatures. The combined flange thickness at the panel joints is sufficient to meet any stress imposed. This is self-sealing feature eliminate the possibility of separation and hence prevent leakage of the tank. The tank made of corrosion-resistant panels does not have sediments accumulated due to even surface and prevents outside light completely to inhibit proliferation of bacteria.

Commercial Electric Water Heater

Heavy Duty Surface Thermostat Commercial Electric - The STCE models are designed to provide years of reliable operation in commercial applications. Multiple anodes promote longer tank life through even distribution, for protection of the new tank interior.

The STCE models ship with gold plated elements. These gold elements provide long life and superior scale resistance.

Three sizes; 50, 80 and 119 gallon capacity. Tank interior is coated with glass specially developed for water heater use. Tanks rated at 150 psi (1034 kPa) working pressure (ASME 150 psi). Foam insulation reduces costly heat loss, and is vermin proof.

Protects all elements, thermostats, and internal wiring circuits against excess current flow. Meets National Electrical Code requirements that non-ASME tanks must have internal fusing when current draw exceeds 48 amps.

208, 240 and 480V single-phase and three-phase delta. Convertible from three-phase to single-phase (in field) and vice versa. 277V single-phase also available.

Factory installed. Just bring the service to the heater and connect to block.

One temperature control (adjustable through a range of 120° to 180°F) and manual reset high temperature cutoff per element. Thermostat step control may be achieved by varying settings on individual temperature controls. Located behind hinged control compartment door for quick, easy access.

Specification

Furnish and install, where indicated, in accordance with manufacturer’s instructions and in compliance with all rules and regulations of authorities having jurisdiction.

The heater(s) shall be STCE Series Commercial Electric Model Number ______________ as manufactured by American Water Heaters. Heater(s) shall be rated at ____________KW, _______volts, ____________ phase, 60 cycle AC, and listed by Underwriters’ Laboratories and approved to the NSF Standard 5 by UL. Tank(s) shall be ________ gallon capacity. Tanks shall be 50, 80 and 119 gallon capacity and shall have 150 psi working pressure and be equipped with extruded high density anode. All internal surfaces of the heater(s) exposed to water shall be glass-lined with an alkaline borosilicate composition that has been fused-to-steel by firing at a temperature range of 1400°F to 1600°F. Electric heating elements shall be low watt density gold plated 1” screw-in type. Each element shall be controlled by an individually mounted thermostat and high temperature cut-off switch. All internal circuits shall be fused. The outer jacket shall be of baked enamel finish and shall be provided with full size control compartment for performance of service and maintenance through hinged front panel and shall enclose the tank with foam insulation. Electrical junction box with heavy duty terminal block shall be provided. The drain valve shall be located in the front for ease of servicing. DescriptionThe ESC-8231 is the custom-designed collector for regions with maritime and desert-like conditions. It is equipped with a corrosion-resistant absorber, a highliy selective coating to combat sea air and an optimized ventilation concept to keep out blowing sand. The ESC-8231 has been designed to withstand 150 km/h winds and 1.25 kN/m2 snow loads. The ESC-8231 is based on a minimum number of individual components and assembled on a robotic production line at ECOTHERM. Equipped with a modular mounting system, the ESC-8231 can be used for both flat-roof and on-roof installations.

FunctionThe circulation unit is applied to the primary circuit of so-lar systems and oversee management of the solar panel - storage tank fluid thermodynamic cycle for subsequent supply to utilities via hydraulic distribution circuits.They consist essentially of a circulator with appropirate performance (rate of flow/head) and regulation and con-trol devices governing the operating circuit.

Flexible metal hoses produced on helical, annular corrugating form that allowed the product a sufficent bending feature without any diameter reduction appears. Mainly on water line piping and mounting time reduces tre-mendously plus easy to form for any application condition without any extra fitting for any corners just for the inlet and outlet fittings connections.

The connection fittings together with the metal hose is latest technology for solar piping systems. You do not need any pre-paration and/or pre-calculation and /or extra fittings just take of the hose from the box and cut the hose on required length and put the fittings finally mount the system with in maximum 8-10 minutes. DOMESTIC HOT WATER CONSUMPTION

Statistically, it is estimated that the mean family consumption is 35 to 50 litres daily per person. If we add the consumption of a washing machine and a dishwasher, when these are connected to the solar water storage tank, then each requires 20 litres per day (per wash).

Thus, a family of four, for example, with a mean hot water consumption of 40 litres per person, needs an 160 litre solar water heater. If household appliances connected to the solar water heater are added, then the demand increases by at least 40 litres daily. The factors that affect the temperature of the water supplied by a solar system are many and their values vary according to the season, the time of day and the location. Keeping in mind that the solar system is a system that is exposed to the weather conditions, basic parameters affecting its performance are the mains water temperature, the available solar energy and the ambient temperature. 1. Cylinder: 2.5mm thickness cold rolled steel with a double internal layer of enamel, baked at 860ºC according to DIN 4753.

The enameling is done in our own high tech industrial facilities. The water storage tanks are checked individually upon exit from the enameling unit, assuring the top quality of the enamel!

2. Surrounding heat exchanger (Jacket) with internal expansion tank: cold rolled steel, 1.5mm thickness for the operation of the closed loop, which is compulsory at low temperatures and also in areas with water with high mineral content.
