The STEINER ICS 640 was designed us-ing the most up to date technology to provideshooters with an optic that will increase theiragility through quick and effective target en-gagements. Due to intelligent technology, firstround hits are now possible at distances of 300to 800 meters depending on the weapons andammo being used. The STEINER ICS 640 offers the follow-ing functions in a compact unit: An aiming op-tic with 6 magnification, a class 1 rangefinderand ballistic calculator that provides the correctDOPE (Data Of Previous Engagments) for lazed
targets, and an illuminated aiming reticle thatwill provide the correct hold over for the com-puted ballistic solution.
The ICS 640 always shows the correct aim-ing point in the reticle using 38 different posi-tions and the instant ballistic calculation basedon the range and ammo being used.

Mountingwith possibility foradjustment
The ICS 640 also offers a Picatinny rail for theattachment of additional aiming devices (e.g.Red Dot), and back up iron sights. Both providethe shooter with the capability to engage tar-gets at close ranges with speed and accuracy.
The STEINER ICS 640 is water-proof,shock proof, fog-proof, and equipped with afully-multicoated lens for superior brightnessand clarity. To enhance the shooters ability toaccurately engage targets in varying light con-ditions, the reticle can be adjusted with four dif-ferent brightness settings.
MOUNTING AND SIGHTING IN
Mounting to the weapon
The STEINER ICS 640 comes ready tomount to any standard MIL-STD 1913 Pica-tinny rail.
Open the two locking mechanisms andposition the optic on the rail to check for cor-rect eye relief, which is approximately 80 mm.
After the optic is correctly adjusted andlocked in place by closing the mounts, it can beadditionally secured by using cable ties or wire.
Remote operation
The ICS 640 can also be operated by us-ing the provided PTT remote configuration. Theremote can be attached to either the forearm orbuttstock of the weapon with hook and loop tapeallowing the shooter to range a target while in theready position.

Sighting in
To zero the ICS 640 select a clearly de-fined target at 100 m and zero the optic usingthe middle target mark in the center of the ret-icle. To adjust the zero of the optic first loosen
the safety screws in the mount and make thecorrect adjustments using the included multi-tool. Next, move the knurled screw in the cor-rect direction required to zero the weapon.
One click on the knurled screw corre-sponds to 1/2 MOA, or 1/2 at 100 meter. Afteryou are finished making adjustments and theoptic is zeroed, tighten the safety screws.
The multi-tool gives the shooter the optionto adjust the integrated iron sights or additionalaiming device.
USE
The STEINER ICS 640 is operated via three
integrated buttons. They adjust the brightnessof the illumination (B2/B3) and activate mea-surement of a target point (B1).
The B1 button is used to operate the laserfunction of the optic. When pressed, threevertical bars will appear through the eyepiecealerting the shooter that a range, ballisticssolution, and holdover are being calculated.Targets that are not clearly defined because offoliage, smoke, glass, or other objects may pro-duce incorrect ranges. This shooter is alertedof this action by viewing three horizontal bars
