CLAT Eligibility Criteria 2016 The CLAT Eligibility Criteria 2016 for the Under-Graduate and Post Graduate programmes are as follows: 1. CLAT UG: The candidate must have obtained a Higher Secondary School/Intermediate (10+2) or its equivalent certificate from a recognized Board with not less than 45% marks in aggregate (40% in case of SC and ST candidates). or Candidates who are appearing in March/April, 2015 or have appeared in the 10+2 examination and are awaiting results are also eligible to appear in the test. However, such candidates are required to have passed the qualifying examination at the time of their admission and must be able to submit proofs in support of their claims. No provisional admission shall be provided to those candidates who are not submitting the result of the qualifying examination (i.e. 10+2) at the time of admission. Qualification Required: Higher Secondary or Intermediate (10+2) with 45% or more aggregate marks (40% in case of SC/ST) Age Limit: There is no age limit for CLAT as from CLAT 2015. CLAT PG or LLM: The candidate must have obtained either a LLB/ 5 year Integrated LLB or any equivalent law degree from a recognized university approved by the Bar Council of India with not less than 55% aggregate marks (50% marks in case of SC/ST)*. The candidates passing through supplementary or compartment examinations are also eligible provided they are able to provide the certificates of passing with 55/50 percent at the time of admissions.

The CLAT Eligibility Criteria 2016 for the Under-Graduate and Post

year Integrated LLB or any equivalent law degree from a recognized

university approved by the Bar Council of India with not less than 55%

aggregate marks (50% marks in case of SC/ST)*. The candidates

passing through supplementary or compartment examinations are also

eligible provided they are able to provide the certificates of passing with

55/50 percent at the time of admissions.

The candidates appearing for their final examinations or semesters or

trimesters by March/April 2015 are also allowed to appear provided there

result is available at the time of admissions. Such candidates may submit

the final results of the qualifying examination within the timeframe

prescribed by the respective Universities and shall be provided provisional

admission only.

Qualification Required: LLB/5 year Integrated LLB/ Any equivalent law

degree from any recognized university approved by the Bar Council of India

with minimum 55% aggregate marks (50% in case of SC/ST)* .

Age Limit: No age limit.

* Subject to State reservation at the University concerned.
