traditional circus arts as you’venever seen them before. Our uniquesummer camp programs introducestudents to the vast array of globalcircus arts techniques taught by ourinternationally renowned coaching

staff in a supportive,non-competitive environment.On Fridays it’s Showtime! We’ll

turn on the spotlight to showcaseyour best circus smiles and styles

for family and friends. Ourperformance days are an

Our professional instructors come from around the globe and have performed with circuses all over the world,including the Mongolian State Circus, Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus and Cirque du Soleil.

Our student instructors, with years of experience in our program, will assist our main coaches.

Zinaida Avgoustova, RussiaZina is a graduate of the Belarus National Sport College inthe USSR and the National Studio of Circus and Theatre Artin Moscow, Russia. Zina has performed and worked withRingling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus, the Big MoscowCircus, and Circus Smirkus. Zina received the 2nd placeaward for the International Festival in Italy and 1st place inthe USSR exhibition of New Circus acts. She also has workedwith special summer camps for kids with Down’s Syndromeand cancer.

Tim Carlson, United StatesTim Carlson began his circus career with the Sailor Circusin Sarasota, Florida (1987-1997) and then toured throughJapan, performing on the flying trapeze and high wire. Timis also a Guinness World Record holder with Wallenda FamilyEntertainment, performing the 4-tiered, 8-person pyramidon the high wire. Tim worked as the head rigger for WaltDisney World Entertainment and as an artistic show rigger forCirque du Soleil’s “O” show at the Bellagio.

Michael Duff, United StatesBorn and raised in Sarasota, Florida, Michael learned towalk the wire at the age of nine. As a student, Michael wasinvolved in the Sarasota Sailor Circus.In 1999 the Wallenda family invitedhim to travel and perform with them.His achievements include performingthree person and seven personpyramids. In 2001 he performed aneight person pyramid for the GuinnessBook of World Records in Japan. Hehas traveled all around the world

performing and rigging. His mostrecent performances include CircusSarasota and “Hephaestus: A GreekMythology Circus Tale” in Chicago.

Chimgee Haltarhuu, MongoliaChimgee is a native of Mongolia, where she attended school athe Mongolian Circus School and performed with the MongoliState Circus. In 1991 she came to the USA to perform withRingling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus. Prior to coming toCircus Juventas in 2002, Chimgee performed with Yankee DooCircus in New York and taught at Circus Smirkus in Vermont.

Mostapha Hassouni, MoroccoMostapha was born in Larache, Morocco. At 22 he startedperforming with the Moroccan Folklore Circus at the Hotel Zenin Spain. Later he went on to perform with Ringling Bros. andBarnum & Bailey Circus and the Excalibur Hotel in Las Vegas wthe Moroccan acrobatic troupe.

Sun Yan Hong, ChinaA native of China, Sun was a gymnast on the Gymnastic TeamPhysical School in Kunming, China, and later performed with elite Flag Circus of China. She won gold medals for Teeterboarand Ballet on Lamps in the National Acrobatic Competition ofVietnam. Prior to joining Circus Juventas in 2004, she toured

with Cirque du Soleil’s Dralion, performing as an acrobat andteeterboard flyer.

Zhang Xu, ChinaXu is a graduate of the Art Academy People’s Republic Army of China. Sin1990 he has won 8 gold medals for bacrobatics and circus arts, winninggold for his Pas De Deux act in boththe 5th National Circus Competitionof China and the International CircusFestival in October of 2001. More

recently, Xu has toured with Cirque DSoleil’s Dralion show, performing inBamboo, Hoop Diving, Lion-Dance aJump Rope. Before arriving at CircusJuventas, Xu had been performing wthe Flag Circus of China.

Health, Liability and Safety Info:

Forms will be e-mailed with camp confirmation to new students. Comp forms must be returned prior to the first day of camp or students w not be allowed to participate. For returning students, health forms mupdated annually. New health forms will be sent if current forms are a yor more old. It is the responsibility of returning students to keep healthcurrent!

Performances:

Friday performances for Full-Day Challenge Camps for family and friendheld at 3:00 pm on the last day. Sampler Camps will not have a performon Friday even if the children are registered for all 5 days.

. Fill out the registration form andmail it with your non-refundable$25 annual registration fee and aminimum of 50% of the camp feeprior to April 15th. Registrationforms received after April 15thmust be paid in full at the time ofregistration. All camp balancesare due by May 1st.

2. Camps are filled on a first-come,first-served basis. Once yourspace is confirmed, policies andprocedures, waivers, and safety

forms will be e-mailed to you.Forms are due prior to the firstday of camp.

3. Confirmations will be sent viae-mail. Please do not bring yourchild to the first day of class ifyou have not received writtenconfirmation. If you have notreceived your confirmation within2 weeks of registration, pleasegive us a call.

4. We refund all tuition for anycamp we cancel. If your planschange and you need to cancelyour registration, all but your

registration fee will be refundedif we receive your writtencancellation before April 15. Norefunds will be given becauseof student absences. CJ will notrefund or make-up a cancelledclass period due to inclementweather.
