Bio-data has to be amesred by rhe I lcacl olOffice, the pages in the service book shall be serially numbercd and in chronokrgic;ilorder.Any aiteration / Correction in the name of the (]overnmcnt scr\/ant in tirc 1sr pagc ol'rlrc:Service book shall be authenticated by the Head of Office .Correction carried outin the date of birth of the Govcrnment scrvanr shall bc clonc in rhc:manner indicated in Note 6 under Rulc 5(>(2) of CCS (Pension) Rulcs, 1972.Service verification entries in the Service book from the date of inrtial appr>inrmcnt ti)1date of rctirement has to be made.
