After years of telling people chemotherapy is the only way to try (try the key word) and eliminate cancer, John Hopkins is finally starting to tell you there is an alternative way.

多年來，我們只知道，化療是消除癌症唯一的方法。約翰霍普金斯大學研究告訴我們有另一種解決方法。

Every person has cancer cells in the body.  These cancer cells do not show up in the standard tests until they have multiplied to a few billion. When doctors tell cancer patients that there are no more cancer cells in their bodies after treatment, it just means the tests are unable to detect the cancer cells because they have not reached the detectable size.

每個人體內都有癌細胞，這些癌細胞在他們繁殖倍增至數十億個前，檢查時並無法察覺。當醫生告訴癌症病人，經過治療後，在他們體內已經找不出癌細胞時，他的意思是，用一般檢察方法，無發現癌細胞，因為癌細胞數目太少，未達到可探測到的數目。

Cancer cells occur between 6 to more than 10  times in a person's lifetime.

When the person's immune system is strong, the cancer cells will be destroyed and prevented from

multiplying and forming tumors.

人類的免疫系統如果夠強壯，癌細胞通常會被摧毀，根本不會倍增及形成腫瘤。

When a person has cancer, it indicates that the person has multiple nutritional deficiencies. These could be due to genetic, environmental, food and lifestyle factors.

當一個人患上癌症，它代表著這人發生多重的營養不足，這可能是由遺傳、環境、飲食和生活方式所造成。

To overcome the multiple nutritional deficiencies, changing diet and including supplements will strengthen the immune system.

Chemotherapy involves poisoning the rapidly-growing cancer cells and also destroys rapidly-growing healthy cells in the bone marrow, gastro-intestinal tract etc, and can cause organ damage, like liver, kidneys, heart, lungs etc.

化療能摧毀快速生長的癌細胞，但也能摧毀骨髓、消化道等當中快速生長的健康細胞，並引起例如肝臟、腎臟、心臟、肺部等器官的損害。

Radiation while destroying cancer cells also burns, scars and damages healthy cells, tissues and organs.

Initial treatment with chemotherapy and radiation will often reduce tumor size. However, prolonged use of chemotherapy and radiation do not result in more tumor destruction.

在初期治療中，化療與電療往往會使腫瘤縮小，但長期的化療與電療，並不會進一步摧毀腫瘤。

當身體由於化療和電療而致積聚太多毒素時，它的免疫系統會受損害或被摧毀，病人因此會有各種的感染和併發症。

When the body has too much toxic burden from chemotherapy and radiation the immune system is either compromised or destroyed, hence the person can succumb to various kinds of infections and complications.

Chemotherapy and radiation can cause cancer cells to mutate and become resistant and difficult to destroy. Surgery can also cause cancer cells to spread to other sites.

化療和電療可導致癌症細胞變異、變得頑強及難以摧毀。手術也會使癌細胞擴散到其他部位。

An effective way to battle cancer is to starve the cancer cells by not feeding it with the foods it needs to multiply.CANCER CELLS FEED ON:

一個有效戰勝癌症的方法是：不給予癌細胞所賴以增生的食物–餓死它。癌細胞所需要的食物：

A. 糖是癌細胞的食物，不吃糖就切斷了其中一種供應癌細胞的重要食物。代糖食品如 Nutra-sweet, Equal, Spoonful 等，都是用阿斯巴甜 (糖精 )造的，是有害的。更好的天然代糖食品是馬努卡蜂蜜或糖蜜，但只能吃非常少量。餐桌鹽中加有化學物質使其變白，更好的選擇是吃布拉格氨基酸或海鹽。

a. Sugar is a cancer-feeder. By cutting off sugar, it cuts off one important food supply to the cancer cells. Sugar substitutes like Nutra-sweet, Equal, Spoonful, etc are made with Aspartame and it is harmful. A better natural substitute would be Manuka honey or molasses but only in very small amounts. Table salt has a chemical added to make it white in color. Better alternative is Bragg's Aminos or sea salt.

B.牛奶會導致身體尤其消化道產生粘液，粘液是癌細胞的食物，不吃牛奶，改吃無糖豆漿，癌細胞就會餓死。

b. Milk causes the body to produce mucus, especially in the gastro-intestinal tract. Cancer feeds on mucus. By cutting off milk and substituting with unsweetened soya milk, cancer cells are being starved.

C.酸性環境會使癌細胞茁壯成長，以肉類為主的飲食是酸性的，最好是改吃魚或少量的雞肉，不要吃牛肉或豬肉；這些肉類含有禽畜用的抗生素、生長激素和寄生蟲，都是有害的，對癌症病人尤其有害。

c. Cancer cells thrive in an acid environment. A meat-based diet is acidic and it is best to eat fish, and a little chicken rather than beef or pork. Meat also contains livestock antibiotics, growth hormones and parasites, which are all harmful, especially to people with cancer.

D.日常食物中 80％是來自新鮮蔬菜及果汁、全穀類、種子、堅果和少量水果，能幫助身體變成鹼性的環境。剩下的 20％，可包含煮熟的食物包括豆類。新鮮蔬菜汁能提供活酵素，他們很容易被吸收，並能在 15 分鐘內進入細胞，供應健康細胞所需， 並促進健康細胞成長。要取得建造健康細胞所需的活酵素，就要飲用新鮮蔬菜汁（大部分的蔬菜，包括豆芽），並且每天吃未煮熟的蔬菜兩到三次。酵素在華氏 104度 (攝氏 40度 )下會被破壞。

d. A diet made of 80% fresh vegetables and juice, whole grains, seeds, nuts and a little fruits help put the body into an alkaline environment. About 20% can be from cooked food including beans. Fresh vegetable juices provide live enzymes that are easily absorbed and reach down to cellular levels within 15 minutes to nourish and enhance growth of healthy cells. To obtain live enzymes for building healthy cells, try and drink fresh vegetable juice (most vegetables including bean sprouts) and eat some raw vegetables 2 or 3 times a day. Enzymes are destroyed at temperatures of 104 degrees F (40 degrees C).

E.避免咖啡、茶或朱克力，因為有較高的咖啡因。綠茶是較好的另類選擇，它有抗癌的特質。飲水最好飲純淨水或是過濾過的，可避免飲下自來水中已知的毒素和重金屬。蒸餾水屬於酸性，要避免飲用。

e. Avoid coffee, tea and chocolate which have high caffeine. Green tea is a better alternative and has cancer-fighting properties. Water : best to drink purified water or filtered, in order to avoid known toxins and heavy metals in tap water. Distilled water is acidic, avoid it.

肉類蛋白質是難以消化的，需要用大量的消化酶來消化。未消化的肉類會留在腸內，腐爛並造成更多毒性積聚。

Meat protein is difficult to digest and requires a lot of digestive enzymes. Undigested meat remaining in the intestines become putrified and leads to more toxic buildup.

Cancer cell walls have a tough protein covering. By refraining from or eating less meat, it frees more enzymes to attack the protein walls of cancer cells and allows the body's killer cells to destroy the cancer cells.

癌細胞的細胞壁有一層強韌的蛋白質膜。避免或少吃肉類，就能釋放更多的酵素來攻擊癌細胞的蛋白質膜，並讓身體的殺手細胞破壞癌細胞。

Some supplements build up the immune system (IP6, Flor ssence,Essiac, anti-oxidants, vitamins, minerals, EFAs etc.) to enable the body's own killer cells to destroy cancer cells.Other supplements like vitamin E are known to cause apoptosis, or programmed cell death, the body's normal method of disposing of damaged, unwanted or unneeded cells.

癌症是思想、身體和精神上結合的疾病，積極和正面的思維，有助癌症病人戰勝它。憤怒、不寬恕和苦毒，會使身體處於一個緊張和酸性的環境。學習存有一顆充滿愛和寬恕的心，學習放鬆和享受生命！

Cancer cells cannot thrive in an oxygenated environment. Exercising daily and deep breathing help to get more oxygen down to the cellular level. Oxygen therapy is another means employed to destroy cancer cells.

癌細胞在含氧量大的環境中難以成長。每日運動與深呼吸，能幫助細胞獲得更多的氧氣，氧氣療法是破壞癌細胞的另一種方法。

Johns Hopkins has recently sent this out in its newsletters. This information is being circulated at Walter Reed Army Medical Center as well. Dioxin chemicals causes cancer, especially breast cancer.

約翰霍普金斯最近一份資料指出，戴奧辛化學品會引起癌症，特別是乳癌，此資料已同時在美國沃爾特里德陸軍醫療中心傳閱。

Dioxins are highly poisonous to the cells of our bodies. Don't freeze your plastic bottles with water in them as this releases dioxins from the plastic. Recently, Dr. Edward Fujimoto, Wellness Program Manager at Castle Hospital was on a TV program to explain this health hazard.

戴奧辛對我們的身體細胞毒害性非常高，不要用塑膠瓶盛水放入冰箱中，因為這樣會從塑膠中釋出戴奧辛。最近，愛德華藤博士 (堡壘醫院健康計劃項目經理 )在一個電視節目中解釋了這個健康風險。

He talked about dioxins and how bad they are for us. He said that we should not be heating our food in the microwave using plastic containers. This especially applies to foods that contain fat. He said that the combination of fat, high heat and plastics releases dioxin into the food and ultimately into the cells of the body.

他談到戴奧辛對人體的害處，他說我們不應在微波爐中用塑料容器加熱食物，尤其是含有脂肪的食物，他說脂肪、高熱加上塑料會釋放戴奧辛進入食物中，最終進入人體細胞。

Instead, he recommends using glass, such as Corning Ware, Pyrex or ceramic containers for heating food. You get the same results, only without the dioxin. So such things as TV dinners, instant ramen and soups, etc., should be removed from the container and heated in something else. Paper isn't bad but you don't know what is in the paper. It's just safer to use tempered glass, Corning Ware, etc. He reminded us that a while ago some of the fast food restaurants moved away from the foam containers to paper. The dioxin problem is one of the reasons.

他建議加熱食物時要用玻璃容器，如康寧餐具、高硼或陶瓷容器，你可以得到同樣的加熱效果，只是沒有戴奧辛。所以，電視上的廣告食物，如即食麵和湯類等，加熱時都要從包裝中取出，改以其他容器盛載。紙張本身並非有害，但你不會知道包裝紙中有什麼，還是使用強化玻璃、康寧餐具等較為安全。他提醒我們，早前一些快餐店棄用發泡膠容器改用紙袋，其中一個原因， 就是戴奧辛的問題。

Also, he pointed out that plastic wrap, such as Saran, is just as dangerous when placed over foods to be cooked in the microwave. As the food is naked, the high heat causes poisonous toxins to actually melt out.

此外，他指出食物連同塑料包裝在微波爐中烹調，也是危險的。因為高熱會使毒素完全溶解釋出， 進入食物中。
