Nhanhe Trading cc is a Civil Engineering and general building construction company. The company is registered
with the Construction Industry Development Board (CIDB) with grade 7 CE PE, 7 GB PE, 6 SQ PE, 1 ME PE and 6
EP PE. It is also registered with the National Home Builders Registration Council (NHBRC). Although the company
has a few years of operation since its establishment in 2010, it has seasoned personnel who have gained
considerable guidance and experience in the field of civil engineering and the general building environment over
years.

Our firm, Nhanhe Trading cc is fully aware of the fact that a project does not only consist of an engineering
construction component, that is digging and other related stages of a construction process. Project Management and
other related divisions are the key to make every stage of the construction process to be a suitable and sustainable
solution over a long period of time.
Experience has often taught us that successful projects always have, in common, good resource management,
focusing on time, Client money and standards. We, therefore, adopt a holistic approach towards each project with
the aim of controlling these valuable resources, incorporating in detail the following four core components in a project
life cycle:
❖ Establishing and defining the particular requirements to a solution in close collaboration with the Client, its
established structures and with reference to relevant engineering literature and experience.
❖ Evaluating possible solutions and assessing likely alternatives in terms of affordable standards, bearing in
mind the availability of funds.
❖ Proposing a comprehensive solution to the problem after a detailed assessment of possible alternatives,
once again in collaboration with the Client and other parties involved.

Our key technical staff at Nhanhe Trading cc have many years of experience. Throughout their careers in Civil
Engineering and General Building, they have participated and helped implement a number of development initiatives
aimed at the improvement of living standards of many South African citizens, both in creation and provision of new
basic services (namely:- Water Supply, Sanitation, Schools, Clinics, Roads, etc.) as well as maintenance and
rehabilitation of these assets and many others within the built environment together with the development of the
community’s (Client’s) ability to maintain and sustain such services.

The practice (100% Black owned and managed) was founded by Mr. Nkosinathi Mqokiyana and later registered as
a Close Corporation, Reg. No. CK 2010/021681/23, in 2010. Mr. Nkosinathi Mqokiyana has an experience of more
than 11 years in the civil engineering and building industry.
The director is supported by seasoned and qualified technical staff that oversee the day to day running of projects.

The company’s personnel have gained extensive experience on various software applications. This experience
proved a valuable tool during the evaluation and assessment of alternative solutions.
Nhanhe Trading cc prides itself on the fact that its personnel have acquired top quality training, guidance and
experience over years in the Consulting Engineering and Construction industry that resulted in successful
implementation of various projects within the built environment, mainly in KwaZulu-Natal & the Eastern Cape.

COMMUNITY FACILITATION
Experienced staff can act as facilitators to assist the communities in the structuring of technical committees, and other
structures to ensure effective implementation of development projects and developing the community’s ability to
maintain and sustain such developments.
LABOUR-INTENSIVE CONSTRUCTION
Over the past nine years, our staff have been involved in various projects where maximum use of labour was a
requirement and it was incorporated. Projects that have been successfully completed include, rural sanitation projects
under OR Tambo DM, Alfred Nzo, roads under local municipalities such in KwaZulu-Natal and Eastern Cape, and the
Department of Transport under Mpumalanga rtf and also numerous water supply schemes. During these projects,
valuable experience was gained in adapting to labour intensive construction and developing quality and financial
control mechanisms for these types of projects.
