One of my goals is to become an efficient employee of Metropolitan Bank & Trust Co.,popularly known as Metrobank. Metrobank is the premier universal bank and among theforemost financial institutions in the Philippines. Moreover, It offers a full range of banking andother financial products and services, including corporate, commercial and consumer banking,as well as credit card, remittances, leasing, investment banking and trust banking. In 1981,Metrobank was listed in the Philippine Stock Exchange and acquired its universal bankinglicense, gaining significant equity ownerships in local and international subsidiaries.Furthermore, In 1990, Metrobank launched the countrys first and only talking ATM, MetrobankE.T. During 1995, Metrobank became the first billion dollar bank with total capital of Php22.8billion, the largest in the industry. Metrobank remains dedicated to fulfilling its vision to be thebest bank for all stakeholders from its customers to the community. A recognized leader in thecountrys banking industry, Metrobank has become regarded as the trusted banking partner,staying true to its brand promise of Youre in Good Hands.

My target position is to become a balance and signature verifier, under the cashdepartment. The said position is appropriate in my college degree and suitable in my interestand skills. However, for better performance and to improve my knowledge. I will take proper lawfirst before entering into banking industry. After passing the bar examination, my company willbe assured that both legal laws and actions will be implemented as I work. More importantly, Iwill be able to protect my company against persons with unjust motives.

I will always be 101% determined to do my duties and responsibilities. I will always striveto do my job with commitment and competency. I will ensure that progression of the companywill take place through my performance and I will not allow any process of sabotage against the

bank. More specifically, Ill be responsible for securing the safety of signature cards of thebusiness centers under the jurisdiction, Ill be responsible for safekeeping of files and recordssuch as Advise on Returned Inward Check (ARIC) Detail List, inward checks and the list oftransferred checks to the outrsouced company handling SOA ,and Ill be responsible for the safetransfer of Signature cards for scanning.

I am expecting that the bank will allow personality and skill improvements among itsemployees through conducting seminars, conferences, and other forms of training. Futhermore,I expect that the management of the bank will treat all employees with respect and dignity; andwill give no discrimination and provide fair judgement to all employees. Lastly, through itsdifferent capabilities, the bank is expected to give aid to the community where it belongs. I amexepecting that the bank will fullfil their primary social resposibilities by creating wealth effiency

through the provision of financial intermediation services. In this proces, they can be expectedto meet community expectations of moral probity and good corporate citizenship. The efficientway to provide banking services for the poor is to follow the example of the public utilities andnegotiate commuty service obligations for the provision of basic services at public expense andwill act as payment agents by conducting checking or current accounts for customers,paying cheques drawn by customers on the bank, and collecting cheques deposited tocustomers' current accounts. Banks also enable customer payments via other payment methodssuch as telegraphic transfer, EFTPOS, and ATM.
