Vice President of Program Katherine Huck Chief Development Officer David Jones Vice President of Human Resources Mary Wissemann Vice President, Field Operations Tiffany started her career at BELL in 1998 and has served in a variety of roles including Program Manager, Director of Evaluation, and Chief Operating Officer, Field Operations. Through her leadership, BELL's models and evaluation methods have been nationally recognized as best practices in expanded learning programs. Tiffany is a recipient of Boston College's Donald J. White Teaching Excellence Award and served as an instructor at Johns Hopkins University. She holds a B.A. in Psychology and a Ph.D. in Educational Research, Evaluation and Measurement, both from Boston College. She also sits on the board of the Center for Effective Philanthropy, the knowledge advisory board for The Bridgespan Group, and the advisory board for Results for America. Tony joined BELL with over 20 years of large and small company professional experience. In his 17 years at Arch Wireless, the nation’s leading provider of wireless messaging and paging services, Tony participated as part of the start-up team that grew Arch from its venture capital beginnings to $1.4B in revenue. He also held a number of key positions, from Corporate Controller to President of the company’s $200M and was involved in 22 M&A events. His earlier professional experience includes time with Stone & Webster Engineering Corporation. Tony holds a B.S. in Business Administration from Boston College and he graduated summa cum laude with an MBA in Finance from Ohio University. Lauren focuses on ensuring that BELL continues to provide an outstanding program model while also assessing ways to enhance our delivery over time. Lauren brings over 15 years of education experience to BELL. Since 2006 she has served as Assistant Superintendent of the Natick, MA Public Schools – a system serving 4,8000 pre K-12 students. Prior to that, Lauren also held a leadership role within the Worcester Public Schools and was a Special Education Teacher in Albuquerque, NM. Lauren earned her Ed.D. from the Lynch School of Education at Boston College. Katherine is responsible for ensuring BELL secures the resources it needs to expand learning time for scholars. Her team works closely with BELL’s regional leaders to raise funding through grants, individual contributions, and events. She brings to BELL diverse experience in sales management, leadership capability, and as a successful entrepreneur. Most recently, Katherine served as Vice President of Global Sales for the Aberdeen Group, where she was responsible for 1/3 of the entire company’s revenue. Since 2006, she has also served as Founder and President of The Happy Kid Company, an award winning toy manufacturer. Katherine gained her initial experience in political fundraising, working on multiple campaigns. She is a graduate of St. Lawrence University. David works to strengthen BELL’s talent. He has over 20 years’ experience in human resources, including 17 years at Eli Lilly and Company, a global pharmaceutical manufacturer. Prior to his time at Lilly, David spent four years in the non-profit sector working for Exceptional Parent Magazine, an organization focused on the needs of parents of children with disabilities. David earned his B.A. degree in Economics from Harvard University and holds an M.B.A. from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Mary leads BELL’s program operations throughout the country. She comes to BELL from Wellspring Consulting, where she provided strategic consulting to non-profit organizations. Mary’s work with Wellspring included a significant focus on organizations in the education and youth development sectors, such as The After School Corporation, Boston After School & Beyond, and the Afterschool Alliance. Prior to Wellspring, worked with the Boston Consulting Group and UpToDate. She started her career as a Mathematics teacher. Mary is a graduate of Wesleyan University and has a Master’s in Public and Private Management from the Yale School of Management. www.experienceBELL.org
