Bharathidasan University, named after the revolutionary Tamil

Poet Bharathidasan, was established in the year 1981.

Bharathidasan University is one of the leading universities of

India, is accredited by National Assessment and Accreditation

Council (NAAC) at "A" level among the universities. It was

recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC), a

member of Association of Indian Universities (AIU) and

Commonwealth Universities.
