Welcome to HUFS, everyone!I'm sure you are half-excited and half-scared of your new life in Korea.

But don't worry too much.

We, ISO, have "one to one" mentoring program for exchange students

in HUFS.

What is ISO mentoring program?

Simply, every one of you who applies will get a mentor from ISO staffs.

You will be mentee with your matching mentor. Your mentor will help

you make bank account and cell phone, eat with you, celebrate your

birthday with you and help you out with going to hospital.

The application will be on 24th of February at the orientation.You can check who your mentor is from 29th.

Make sure you come to ISO office to check your mentor!

Ofcourse, there are

more ISO staffs

waiting to be your

mentors!

Can you believe that

all of these hot peo-ple are ISO staffs??

We, International Student Organization, are to help those ex-

change students to adapt well to the Korean living and school life.

Plus, we are to make you have a beautiful memories of your stay in

Korea with amazing events. ISO consists of six teams including

Buddy team, Planning team, PR team, Culture team, Exchange

Student team, and Global Link team.

Exchange team helps pick-

ups to opening a mobile

phone, making a bank

account and ANYTHING youneed living in Korea. We

Even have special events

called amazing race and

field trips.

Culture team

holds variouscultural events

such as cooking

class and movie

nights.

Buddy team will match you with HUFS

student one to one as each other'sbuddies and have programs such as

Picnic, homestay, rafting, and so on.

PR team promotes all

the activities and events

held by ISO to external

institutions and the

press.

Moreover, we make

posters of special events

like NEW STAFF

WANTED , CLUB party

on our own and takes

care of social networks.

Planning team manages schedules, atten-

dance, prepares language exchange pro-

gram, staffs information session workshop,

get-together, and one of ISOs biggest

events, club party.

Global Link team con-

sists of only foreign

student members to

have a link between all

ISO members and

international students.

Writes weekly newspaper, Atti and holds

events like Hufs Got

Buddy program is a cultural exchange program for anyone who'dlike to experience Korean cultures and meet Korean friends.

In this program, you will be paired up with a Korean student and do vari-ous activities with your group.

The official schedule is as follows.

5/19 Buddy day 2 (outdoor activity ; rafting or

experiences of farming)
