Before we start, I would like to remind everyone inside this hall with regards to emergency situation that

may arise during the course of this event. Please see there are 2 doors. One is in my right and one in my

left. Please evacuate this building as instructed in mannerly order and assemble in assembly area which

is the parking area in front of hotel. Then wait for further instruction by safety personnel.

As a start, let watch the Safety Video with title of Safe on Site. Please look at the white screen in front

of you. Thank you.

Let us take a pause and think of the similarity in our daily life. Let analyse and call the guy as Mr A.

In daily site activities, our worker may not

wearing proper PPE for specific job e.g

Most of us afraid to intervene others

especially higher management. Therefore it is

very important especially for management to

embed / instill intervention culture because

SAFETY is everybody business.

No hard barricade for opening on

scaffolding structure, no barricade

or signage when commencing lifting

operation showed the responsible

person is unable to identify hazardsthat are posed to others.

If we reflect in daily life for negligence of

hazards to others as example it is in our home

when we put medicine in wrong place where

our child may take and consume it, dangerous

utensil such as knives not being put in higherplace as our child may reach it.
