arthome.hk sited on a warehouse roof floor in the Fotan Art District in Hong Kong, is

founded by Alan Lai in 2008. Local artists are welcome to create pottery, wood craving

and painting in this sun-lit and green planted studio. We have been a member of the

Fotan Open Studios program since 2009 to share the joy of making art to public.

Gallery Profile

Arthome.hk was founded by Alan Lai in 2009. It is aimed at providing visual artists a

home like space: a free and fresh shelter to share the joy of making art. This studio is

sited at the roof floor of a warehouse in Fotan Industrial suburb area where many art

studios established in these years. Most of the studios in Fotan join the Open Studios

Program in there years and open their Studios for public to visit and share the joy of

making art every January.

There is a professional pottery and wood workshop in this studio for local artist

to create art pieces in arthome.hk. As the the workshop is built on the roof floor

with glass wall, the warm sun shine fill up with the greens shadow around the

workshop. Refer to the visitors, arthome.hk is said to be one of the most lovely

studio in Hong Kong.

A small gallery is built at the studio entrance of arthome.hk. It presents many

pottery and wood craving art pieces from the artists in arthome.hk as well as

other local artists.
