Asumsi yang Digunakan
Larutan hanya terdiri dari dua komponen. Aliran equimolal Untuk semua stage kecuali feed stage, laju alir uap
dari suatu stage sama dengan laju alir molar uap pada stage dibawahnya. Sedangkan cairan yang meningggalkan stage sama dengan cairan yang mengalir dari stage diatasnya.
Uap yang meninggalkan stage seimbang dengan cairan yang ada pada stage.
