Coming HomeTe wedding went very well. Te guests threw rice at Adam and Jaya as they exited the

chapel. Tat evening, Adam had arranged a party near the bed-and-breakast. Tey and theguests had dinner and then danced to live music (a local band). Hamish, their kiltedacquaintance rom Edinburgh, even brought his bag pipes. Everyone had a wonderul time.

Te next day, Adam and Jaya took the train back to Coventry. Most guests had drivento Inverness, so they simply got in their cars a nd drove home. However, Paddy and Linda

had to fy back because they were expecting two very good riends rom Prague, Iva and James,to arrive later that day in Manchester. It seemed that Paddy and Linda were always visitingor being visited. Tey were both social butterfies.

Te train ride was uneventul. Adam had purchased two rst-class tickets and arranged orchampagne to be served. It was a lovely journey home. When they nally arrived at platorm 6in Coventry, Jaya was surprised to see more o her riends and colleagues waiting to seethe bride and groom. Tere were also some people there she didnt recognise, and shepresumed them to be riends o Adam. Tey got o the train and walked towards the crowdo well-wishers.

As Adam and Jaya made their way through the throng, a high-pitched voice could be heardrom behind them. It was little Jaroslaws voice. Tey turned around to see little Jaroslawaccompanied by an elderly couple, Adams parents. Tey had come to England aer a ll, and

according to his athers rst impressions o Coventry, they might even decide to stay. Te crowdbecame quiet when they noticed that little Jaroslaw was trying to say something. When thevoices had nally died down to a so murmur, Jaroslaw walked up to Jaya, looked up at her andtook her hand. Welcome home, mummy, he said and hugged her legs tightly. Jaya startedcrying (as did most o the women present). Some o the men cried as well.

Adam, Jaroslaw, and Jaya walked hand in hand out o the railway station and stepped intothe limousine that was waiting. One airy tale ended that day and another one started. Andthree very happy people completed the nal leg o their journey home.
